“People want to contest for president, but they don’t know where Abakaliki, Ikwo or Nkalagu is. We won’t vote for people who stay in their houses while the people are suffering. We are here today for a town hall meeting to hear directly from you all. Leadership must not be by supply; it should be by demand.”
— NDC presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, speaking at the ongoing town hall meeting in Ebonyi State.

Will your presidential candidate visit some states for campaign?
Our presidential candidate has been going round the country campaigning, and he will visit every state in the country, campaigning alongside our National Leader.
Your Presidential candidate can’t try it. He will tear his ACL.

BREAKING:
Court Orders Uzodinma to Stop Parading Himself as APC Candidate for Imo West Senatorial District
Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, to immediately stop presenting himself as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Imo West Senatorial District in the January 16, 2027 election.
The judge issued the order on Thursday after ruling that Uzodinma did not win the APC senatorial primary conducted on May 18 and monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Delivering judgment, Justice Egwuatu held that evidence before the court showed that former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, secured the majority of votes cast in the primary.
The court subsequently ordered the APC to forward Okorocha’s name to INEC as its candidate for the Imo West Senatorial District election in 2027.
