2026 AI task pay rates just got updated.
If you’re in Nigeria and still sleeping on this, you’re leaving money on the table.
Realistic monthly (20-30 hrs/week):
• Beginners: ₦300k-₦800k
• Skilled (STEM/coding): ₦1M-3M+
Top platforms right now:
DataAnnotation
• $20-$45+ (up to $65)
• Very consistent
• Good for non-experts
Alignerr
• $25-$120+
• Best for experts (tech, medical, finance)
Outlier (Scale AI)
• $15-$50+
• High earning potential
• Access can be tricky
Mindrift
• $15-$100+
• Strong for coding/STEM
• High ceiling
TELUS AI
• $10-$25
• Reliable steady tasks
Remotasks
• $3–$15
• Easy entry point
Appen / CrowdGen
• $5-$20+
• Wide task types
Toloka
• $2-$8
• Very easy to start
• Low pay but consistent
Pareto AI
• $20-$60+
• Growing option
Mercor
• $20-$150+
• Premium for specialists
What’s working for Nigerians:
• Stack 2-4 platforms
• Use Payoneer for payouts
• Focus on quality (better scores = better pay)
• Expect “feast or famine” task flow
Simple path:
Start with Remotasks or Toloka →
Move to DataAnnotation / Alignerr / TELUS →
Scale into higher-paying platforms
A lot of people are already doing $500–$1,500+/month with this.
Nothing complicated.
Just time, consistency, and attention to detail.
