Belatedly, just read this by one of my all-time Brighton favourites @brian_horton4 A really enjoyable football autobiography which I would thoroughly recommend.
It was great to welcome a new group of U5s as they began their footballing journey this morning. My 14th season coaching at @OfficialCDGFC and proud to be of our success story. We are a village but we have 26 teams from U5s to U16s for boys and girls plus a men's 1st team & U18s.
It has been a pleasure and an honour to coach alongside these guys for the last two years at @OfficialCDGFC. I wish them the best with their next steps in life and I look forward to starting again with a new set of U5s and a new set of coaches in September.
The next generation at @OfficialCDGFC! My U6s before their first ever matches this morning, looking very smart. A great morning had by all and the start of a journey #OneClub
It all begins somewhere! My @OfficialCDGFC U6s play their first ever matches this morning. 20 children, very nervous, very excited. A first team player of the future? That's the goal. We are a club with a pathway.
Want to enrol at @OfficialCDGFC? We are collating interest for next season's U5s (starting reception at school in September 2022). Email me at [email protected]
We are collating interest for next season’s U5s group at @OfficialCDGFC starting in September. This will be for children starting reception year in September. We provide football sessions in a fun, safe environment. If you would like more details, email me at [email protected]
A great win for @OfficialCDGFC yesterday and delighted Bradley Smith made his 1st team debut. Bradley, who joined as an U12, is the third player from my U15 cup winning side in 2019 to play for the 1st team this season. We are a club that offers a pathway for young players 💪
This is great news for our youngest groups in the club 🙏
The Club are delighted and grateful to receive a grant from Crawley Down Village Website Association. We have been awarded £200 to purchase extra sets of junior Samba training goals for the boys and girls in our U6s and U5s groups. crawleydownvillage.co.uk/
Well done to the @OfficialCDGFC chairman, vice-chairman, 1st team manager, current U18s manager and everyone else involved for making this happen. And well done to the boys themselves. The hard work begins from here!
At the end of my first season as U6s manager in 2010 I said to the then chairman all our junior teams should aspire to produce 2 players to go on to play for the 1st team & that we would endeavour to do that. Last night was a step towards delivering on a 11-year promise. #proud

👏Absolutely chuffed one of the group Richard & I brought through from U6s to U16s made his debut for @OfficialCDGFC 1st team last night. Well done Joel for a senior debut at 16 & well done fellow U18 player Fin who also made his debut. Both did well. We are a club with a pathway

A huge well done 👏👏👏
CDGFC U14's won the HYDL, Div A on Saturday with a 100% record, scoring 57 and only conceding 3 goals with 2 games still to play. This is an outstanding effort and achievement by the boys and the club are very proud of them. #younganvils

Ready to go again! My @OfficialCDGFC Under-5s start training again this morning after 3 months of lockdown. We're expecting 5 new starters, 18 children in total and countless smiles!
We try to make coaching fun at @OfficialCDGFC across our 22 junior teams for boys and girls. A few familiar faces helped out with a shooting exercise for my U5s training this morning. The children enjoyed it #oneclub
This morning we welcomed a new intake of U5s (reception year at school) into @OfficialCDGFC Two of our U18s ran the session with me and the children enjoyed it. We still have places. Email [email protected] #OneClub
