The lock starts today and runs through the end of February 2027. We're doing this to show that Grumpy Cat is here to stay and ready to compete in the upcoming cat supercycle. This locked supply also helps support the floor that's forming on the chart.
This move is for the people who are in this for the long haul. Long term holders are the backbone of this community, and we want to give you a reason to feel confident staying here. If you're planning to hold through the noise and help build this out, this lock is for you.
Because this supply can't be accessed until the end of February 2027, there will be no paid actors. If you're holding for the long run, you can rest easy.
When the lock ends, we plan to airdrop a percentage of the supply to holders. We'll also use a portion for marketing and promotion. The remainder will either be relocked or put to a community vote. Your call.
