DMI data shows surface mass in July 2026 spiking well beyond the 1981-2010 mean.
Mid-July is when Greenland should be losing several gigatons a day. Instead, the ice sheet is adding mass with the July 12 map showing gains across broad areas.
The season's accumulated surface mass is sitting around 580 gigatons, well above the long-term mean with barely any net decline since the June peak.
It's July 2026 and we're seeing unprecedented Greenland snow and ice gains in data back to 1981 -- but the media is ignoring it.
