ITS FIGHT DAY.
10AM RCTC FIELDHOUSE.
I BROKE DOWN AND GOT A VEST TO COACH IN.
THE TREK TO 6X VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COACH OF THE YEAR BEGINS NOW.
I MIGHT MESS AROUND AND LOSE A TEAM POINT JUST TO GET THE RUST OFF.

I also want to add that these two deserve a ton of credit for letting it fly tonight.
Neither one protecting a ranking, neither one ducking the other knowing they’ll meet in two weeks, just two world champs letting it fly.
A win for wrestling.
BATTLE OF WORLD CHAMPS TONIGHT 🔥
#1 Luke Stanich won U20 World gold at 65kg in 2025. One year later, Bo Bassett won U20 AND Senior World gold at the same weight.
Tonight they meet at 141 when Lehigh hosts Virginia Tech, and it's Bassett's college debut.
7 p.m. ET, live on FloWrestling!
Fight time is 10AM tomorrow at the RCTC Fieldhouse for the Yellowjacket Open! Between us hosting and a slew of nearby schools, there will be plenty of SE MN talent on display.
Come kick off the wrestling season after ya get in the stand on Saturday morning!
I want everyone to know that I’ve been responsibly sitting on exciting news regarding an alumni and now another fun connection getting into coaching.
Nobody’s asked me, but I’m a big proponent of Raffle Fundraisers.
I’m more likely to spend double with a chance to win something, even if I don’t care about the reward. I just wanna have a chance to win something.

BRADY TKACHUK GOT BOOED DURING TRIBUTE VIDEO BUT TOOK A VICTORY LAP ANYWAY 😭
THE BEST HEEL IN THE GAME TODAY 😅
I got three calls from the Three Musketeers at Northern last night for a fundraiser.
I already got them arguing over who the favorite is by who I answered for, first.
How should I handle this?

It’s Fight Week for Loomis at MN1.
For the first in quite awhile, I won’t be able to attend due to a wedding obligation.
Maybe I can convince the priest to take a brief recess mid-mass.
Studying the Grant Daniels phenomenon in real-time:
-Athlete “surprise” qualifies for MSHSL State. DNPs.
-Takes 3rd at FS State
-Qualifies for and wins bouts at Fargo
-Printing TD’s this fall
One “surprise” snowballs. Never know when it’s coming. Keep showing up.
Grant Daniels continues to put up big numbers for talented Fillmore Central. He was one of many standouts from around the area. postbulletin.com/sports/prep…
I love watching the athletes in our little corner of the world lead and compete in things other than wrestling.
Being tough ain’t a part-time job.
A certain returning Fargo AA on the mend stopped by workout last night to say hi and ride bike.
Said athlete ripped calluses from his hands while hitting self-directed bike sprints.
Nothing happens on accident.
I just saw an AI-created camp flyer advertising a few select MS/HS-aged athletes’ names in attendance of said camp.
The private wrestling space gets weirder every day.

WITH BILL ZADICK 🔥
Frustration can be a sign that you’re getting close to a breakthrough.
Bill Zadick explains why operating at your limit is uncomfortable, but often exactly where growth happens.
