I'll take this moment to thank my hate followers who tried so hard to get blocked. Especially @Daniggerma69420, who's been coping a whole year after losing an argument and never getting blocked; and @WarsAreFun's recient effort. And Remember: Mute ≠ Block SW1&2 > Portal GGs😉

Trippy forgets that the people at the midnight launch are interested both in the event experience and the paid physical copy.

24 hour in a line for a remake people are already playing on PC. Nintendo fanboys ain't beating the allegations.

The only game at $80 is MKW, FEFW is $80 physical and $70 digital. The other games are between $50-$70 depending on format. Videogame companies are not charity and certainly it's never been a cheap hobby. You either buy it or not, or wait for the common 30% off digital sale.

This person just asked to create a back and forth situation, but was easy to put on the spot when the two choices could undermine the script. Never chose because to avoid being honest.

Its completely different. PS5 games have the game in the disc and you don't need internet to play them since the data is in the disc for the PS5 to install. A GKC literally has no game and only has a download license/code to download the game from the servers. Install ≠download

Feels like a lot of people are still ignorant about GKC. They're pretty much no different from the standard PS5 game which just installs the game instead of being on the disc.
59
It's a reusable download license, even if you can lend or resell it, it doesn't have the game in the box or the card. It's not identical to a download code, but these game cases have no game at all in them, just like a code in a box.
Poi (@RealPoi_15) profile picturePoi@RealPoi_15Oct 25
Game Key Cards are not "digital codes". Its a cart that gives permission to download, and once installed, the console uses it as a key to play the game. A digital code has the game tied to an account, a GKC however is tied to the cart meaning you can lend it over to someone.

I sorry that you factually lost this argument even after moving goalposts. Facts and data. 1. You used unrelieable source. 2. Bayo is not nintendo exclusive. 3. Astro didn't outsell the platformers in your list, after you claimed it did and could. 4. You got community noted.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Astro Bot sales in the post are Alinea Analytics estimates, not official Sony figures, and it did not outsell multiple listed games with higher Nintendo-confirmed sales such as Kirby and the Forgotten Land (7.52M) and Pokémon Pokopia (over 5M). play3.de/2026/10/23/ast… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_b… gematsu.com/2026/08/switch… nintendolife.com/news/2026/08/p…
