India's independence was won through courage, vision and resolve. Its next chapter, energy independence, will be won through manufacturing, technology and will. Every year on this day, I am reminded of how much was given so that we could have the freedom to imagine, to build and to dream. And it is that freedom, that responsibility, which brings me to what I believe is one of the defining challenges of our generation. A self-reliant nation must also be an energy-secure one. That means building domestic capability, not just importing clean energy solutions. It means investing in technology, skilling our workforce and committing to the long game. At Vikram Solar, that is not just our business — it is our purpose. That is the India we are working toward. One that does not just consume the future, but builds it. Happy Independence Day. #IndependenceDay #India #AtmanirbharBharat #EnergyIndependence #CleanEnergy @VikramSolar

It was a privilege to meet the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Shri Suvendu Adhikari. Our conversation centred on the opportunities that lie ahead for the state—from strengthening manufacturing and attracting investment to creating skilled employment and accelerating the clean energy transition. West Bengal has the talent, the industrial legacy and the potential to play a defining role in India's next phase of growth. As Vikram Solar, born in Bengal over two decades ago, we remain deeply committed to contributing to the state's industrial resurgence and building a more sustainable future together. I thank the Hon'ble Chief Minister for his time and look forward to working towards a stronger, more prosperous West Bengal. #WestBengal #CleanEnergy #SolarEnergy #Manufacturing #MakeInIndia #InvestInBengal @VikramSolar

The next chapter of India's energy transition will not be defined by capacity alone. It will be defined by quality, efficiency and long-term performance. In my latest article for @FortuneMagazine, I explore why raising the efficiency floor is essential: not just for the solar industry, but for India's manufacturing ambitions and global competitiveness. What efficiency threshold do you think India's manufacturers should be targeting? #EnergyTransition #ALMM #MadeInIndia #ManufacturingExcellence @VikramSolar fortuneindia.com/opinion/the…

One of the most beautiful ideas in our tradition is the meaning of the word Guru itself. Texts like the Advayataraka Upanishad define 'gu' as darkness or ignorance, and 'ru' as the remover or dispeller of that darkness. Together, the words show that a Guru is the spiritual guide who removes ignorance and brings light True learning is not about collecting knowledge. It is about gaining clarity, perspective and wisdom. On Guru Purnima, I offer my gratitude to all those who have illuminated my path and continue to remind me that learning is a lifelong journey. Happy Guru Purnima. #GuruPurnima #GurudevaBhava @VikramSolar

Long before sustainability became a global imperative, our ancient scriptures reminded us that humanity and nature are inseparable. The Atharva Veda speaks of the Earth as the sustainer of all life and reminds us of our shared responsibility to protect it. Its wisdom remains as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago. As we advance the global energy transition, let us also remember that true progress is measured not only by what we build, but by what we preserve for generations to come. On Nature Conservation Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to protecting the ecosystems that sustain us and creating a future where development and conservation go hand in hand. Happy Nature Conservation Day. #WorldNatureConservationDay #Sustainability #EnergyTransition #ClimateAction @VikramSolar

India has built real strength in solar module manufacturing. But the next ₹1 lakh crore opportunity lies beyond modules. In my latest piece for @EconomicTimes EnergyWorld, I write about why the market is no longer buying megawatts alone. It is demanding reliability. That shifts the centre of gravity towards upstream integration into cells and components, and towards storage and firm, round-the-clock renewable power. BESS is no longer an add-on. It is the backbone of what comes next. Read the full article here: bit.ly/4gZqEay #RenewableEnergy #EnergyStorage #BESS #MakeInIndia #SolarManufacturing @VikramSolar

It was a privilege to meet the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C. Joseph Vijay. We spoke about the future of manufacturing, India's clean energy transition, and the pivotal role Tamil Nadu is playing in shaping the country's next phase of industrial growth. What struck me most was how deeply the Chief Minister's vision resonated with our own, that manufacturing excellence, sustainability and innovation must advance together if India is to lead this next chapter. Tamil Nadu has become more than a manufacturing base for us. It has become an important chapter in Vikram Solar's journey. With our facilities at Vallam and Gangaikondan, we aren't just building capacity; we are putting down roots in technology, in talent, and in a long-term ecosystem that will carry India's clean energy ambitions forward for decades to come. My deepest gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for his time and the warmth of the conversation. @VikramSolar looks forward to walking this journey with Tamil Nadu, in industrial growth, and in India's clean energy future. @TVKVijayHQ @actorvijay #CleanEnergy #SolarManufacturing #MakeInIndia @CMOTamilnadu @Guidance_TN

India's energy story this decade will define the kind of nation we become in the next century. Sharing my views in Fortune India: fortuneindia.com/opinion/let… #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergy #India @VikramSolar

Every generation has its own understanding of what it means to "save." For some, it's a button on a screen. For others, it's money in the bank. But perhaps the most important thing we can save is the one thing we all depend on — our environment. The choices we make today, as individuals, businesses and nations, will determine the world we hand over tomorrow. Because what we save today, truly saves us tomorrow. #WorldEnvironmentDay #CreatingClimateForChange #Sustainability #CleanEnergy @VikramSolar

Kolkata’s summer has truly arrived — and somewhere between the heat, the traffic and the rush of everyday life, I found myself reminiscing about this quiet morning in Chail. There is something deeply energising about waking up amidst the mountains. The silence feels different. The air feels lighter. Even time seems to move a little slower. Sometimes, stepping away from the noise is what allows us to return with greater clarity. Missing the cool mountain mornings a little extra today. #morningsun #reflection #leadership

An ode to the women who taught us our earliest lessons in resilience, patience, strength and love — long before we understood the meaning of leadership itself. To all mothers, thank you for all that you do, quietly and consistently. Happy Mother’s Day. #mothersday #leadership @VikramSolar

Wishing the new BJP-led government strength and success in building a progressive, future-ready Bengal. It was a privilege to be present at the swearing-in ceremony of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Shri Suvendu Adhikari, in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, along with several distinguished dignitaries. It felt deeply special to be there with my father, Shri Hari Krishna Chaudhary, and my son Agastya — three generations witnessing a moment that, in many ways, is expected to help shape the future of West Bengal. “सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः, सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः।” @narendramodi_in @SuvenduWB @BJP4India

Some of the most meaningful progress is built far away from boardrooms — on factory floors, at project sites, and through the dedication of people who show up each day to create something real. This photograph is a reminder that every milestone we celebrate is made possible by the hands, skill, and commitment of hardworking people. On Labour Day, I want to acknowledge and thank every worker, engineer, technician, operator, and team member whose effort powers not just companies, but nations. At @VikramSolar, we remain proud of the people who build our journey every single day. Wishing everyone a meaningful Labour Day. #LabourDay #WorkersDay #PeopleWhoBuild #Manufacturing #VikramSolar #Gratitude

Some of my most valuable conversations have happened alone — between me and a book. On World Book Day, I find myself thinking less about what I’ve read, and more about what reading has done to the way I think. It has made me slower to conclude, more curious about what I might be missing, and more comfortable with questions that don’t have easy answers. This shelf in my office at @VikramSolar isn’t a display. It’s a working record of ideas I’m still sitting with, perspectives that have changed my mind, and in many ways, shaped how we think and build. If there’s one habit that has quietly influenced both who I am and how I lead, it’s this. #WorldBookDay #Reading #Leadership

The planet is not a backdrop to human ambition. It is the condition for it. Our power. Our planet. Our responsibility. #EarthDay2026 #ClimateAction #Sustainability @VikramSolar

India is a country that celebrates beginnings in many languages, many traditions, but with one shared spirit of renewal and hope. From Puthandu to Poila Baisakh to Vaisakhi, this time of year reminds us that growth is never accidental. It is nurtured with patience, resilience, and belief. Much like this young sapling, every new beginning carries within it the promise of something far greater. As we step into a new year across different parts of our country, may we continue to build, grow, and create with purpose. Wishing everyone a year of progress, prosperity, and new possibilities. #NewYear #NewBeginnings @VikramSolar

India just crossed 150 GW of installed solar capacity. Let that number sink in. In 2014, we had 2.82 GW. Today, we stand at 150.26 GW, a 50-fold increase over a decade. FY 2025–26 alone saw a record 44.61 GW of solar added. A single month, March 2026, contributed 6.65 GW. We also achieved 50% of our cumulative installed electricity capacity from non-fossil sources, five years ahead of our Paris Agreement commitment. India is now the world's third-largest in renewable energy installed capacity. And we are just getting started. 500 GW by 2030 is not a target. It is a direction of travel. At Vikram Solar, this milestone carries a special meaning. For two decades, we have not just witnessed India's solar journey; we have helped shape it. From its nascent early years to its record-breaking present, we have seen and experienced this industry grow from ambition to infrastructure. And we remain as committed to its future as we were at its beginning. The sun is not just shining on our panels. It is shining on our future. #SolarEnergy #IndiaEnergyTransition #RenewableEnergy #MakeInIndia @VikramSolar thehindubusinessline.com/new…
