Alright, it has been 20 hours since my initial post. I privately raised this with the team and gave them the opportunity to disclose it themselves So far, there has been no public disclosure or substantive response So before @hoodnodez opens its mint TODAY, this is the info I believe prospective participants deserve to know To be clear: I am not publishing anyone’s legal identity, private information, or anything unrelated to the project. This concerns only Thomas’s public Web3 identity, public projects, wallets, statements, and my firsthand experience with him. The person I am referring to is Thomas, previously known as Assa and now posting as @hovwtf Based on information I received, Thomas is materially involved with Hoodnodez behind the scenes, while @notrafsburner has been presented publicly as the project lead. That matters because Thomas has a long public history through HAUS/Seludom, MURI, Fabrik, and other launches, and because he knows I would never have supported or collaborated with this project without disclosure of his involvement. I want to separate responsibility clearly: - Raf (@notrafsburner) was respectful and professional with me. He answered my questions, and I have no personal issue with him - @Jacooosss is a close friend and one of the few people I genuinely trust, and he is leading the collab management - @0xV3N is another collab manager - My understanding is that Raf, @Jacooosss, and @0xV3N did not know Thomas was involved when they began working on the project. I am not accusing them of knowingly hiding him - @PancakeXBT was also mentioned during the call, but I am not assigning him any responsibility because I do not know his role My issue is the undisclosed involvement itself. I have known Thomas for years. I supported him from day one, with connections, advice, and public backing. I still hold HAUS/Seludom and MURI today. I eventually removed Thomas from my community in 2023 after repeated conduct destroyed my trust in him, including what happened around Seasons. That is exactly why undisclosed involvement is dangerous: people unfamiliar with his history may evaluate only the pitch, not the operator behind it. His own recent public “Reflection” confirms parts of that history. Yet less than a month later, I have reason to believe he is materially involved in another project preparing to raise substantial funds. Whether he considers himself a founder, designer, adviser, strategist, or “behind the scenes” contributor does not solve the issue. The issue is disclosure. But when a project is preparing to raise close to seven figures, prospective minters deserve to know whether someone with a material and controversial project history is substantially involved behind the scenes, especially when that information could affect whether individuals and communities participate. I gave the team nearly 20 hours to disclose this themselves. So far, they have not. They may still do so today, but with the mint expected today, I cannot risk waiting until funds are already being accepted. This is not a call to harass anyone, dox anyone, or blindly label the project a scam. I cannot know their intentions, and I am not claiming the project is guaranteed to fail. It is a disclosure.
