Kicking off our Book Buddies unit, students learned to use Google Slides to create simile self-portraits! We read My Best Friend is as Sharp as a Pencil, brainstormed words that describe us, turned them into symbols, and wrote simile sentences! #gifted #creative @HSVk12 @HCSgate

During our first week of GATE Monte Sano did this awesome Word of the Year activity inspired by Tolentino Teaching! Students thought about a personal goal they wanted to achieve this school year, selected a word to represent their goal, and then turned it into word art! @HCSgate
