Last week, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), the police watchdog, found that the Metropolitan Police’s handling of Graham’s complaint about his arrest at Heathrow was not reasonable or proportionate.
Last year, Graham was arrested by five armed police officers as he arrived at Heathrow from Arizona. His “crime”? Three gender-critical posts on X.
Gender-critical beliefs are lawful. They are protected under the Equality Act 2010 and were reaffirmed by last year’s landmark Supreme Court ruling.
With the support of the Free Speech Union, Graham sent the Met a pre-action letter arguing that his arrest was unlawful and breached his right to freedom of expression under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
The Met issued a full and unreserved public apology and paid Graham £25,000 in compensation.
Graham also complained to the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards about his arrest and detention in September 2025. The IOPC has now ordered the Met to reinvestigate, saying Graham may have been treated as he was because of his gender-critical views.
The Met’s decision to reopen the investigation is welcome news.
Graham has been relentlessly hounded by trans activists for his lawful views and advocacy for women’s rights. The police have acted on vexatious complaints from those seeking to silence him and others who hold gender-critical beliefs. This ideological capture must end.

Since then, I continued to face degraded living conditions with numerous heating and hot water outages, but not #tenants paying higher rents living in #renovated flats. There is reduced soundproofing and my flat is colder in the winter due to lack of insulation, compared to before the renovation work.
#Akelius Residential is using the #legal system in attempt to harass me out of my flat, starting no fault Section 21 eviction claims based on multiple defective paperwork. As a last chance, they did this shortly before #UK law changed to ban no fault Section 21 #evictions.
In the February 2026 #court hearing, Akelius showed up and failed to comply with all three directions issued by the Court, which are #legal orders, because the Court thinks they have not established right to possession. This shows they are using the legal system to harass me. Despite this, as double litigation for the same thing, Akelius then started another live, duplicate and simultaneous no fault Section 21 #eviction claim, based on the same defective paperwork.
My #neighbours living in the #building during the #construction site days but not involved in the UN reports, did not receive an #eviction notice.
This is what happens when you cooperate with the UN for reporting human rights abuses - you risk your livelihood from retaliation.

I’ve been suffering from the worst depression for about 10 days now. Maybe a month really in total but it’s been a dark fog for 10 days. I’ve really had to dig so deep to try and get through it.
As deep as I did when I had to give up drinking and ended up in hospital. As deep as when Tina, Snoop, Jumbo and Derek died within a few months.
This wave of darkness has been especially bad. I’ve had to use all the tools I know. Breathing exercises. Walking alone. Talking to friends. It’s extra frustrating as I try to do everything right and it still keeps coming. As anybody who suffers knows the symptoms hitting me are…
🧠 Brain moving in slow motion. Thoughts are like molasses. Indecision. Lethargy etc.
😴 Incredibly poor sleep. Waking with anxiety 2-3 times a night.
😬 Small panic attacks where I can feel my heart thinking it might stop or explode.
😖 Extreme irritability. Even with my dogs and people and things I like.
I like to share it because I think it can help others. People will say I have a lot on my plate with hospital builds and the scope of what we are doing. But to be honest I know how hard it is for a mother trying to get 2 kids to school. A young chef (used to me) who is addicted to booze and doesn’t know who to tell. An elderly person with a life of anxiety and no social circle. Every type of person in every walk of life can suffer. Since I’ve shared it I get messages from executives, sports people, performers, celebs and some of the most outwardly confident people in life. It can hit anybody.
The 2 things I think about the most to try beat it are Tina and some of the dogs we’ve helped. Tina will get me through this tough phase and I’ll keep my promises to her. The other dogs in their homes with their wonderful humans show me why we do this. I need to get my spark back to help all those future dogs.
To those who support and send me messages and leave comments it helps more than you’ll ever know. One of these mornings the sun will rise and things will click back to normal. It always does.
Please look after yourselves and be kind to others as you never know what someone might be going through. ❤️
