If you have a multifamily property approaching stabilization, it may be worth evaluating a HUD refinance. While HUD financing may not have been part of the original business plan at groundbreaking, changing market conditions or a longer term hold strategy can make it a compelling option.
We can submit off your T-1 income, or project out income if you are at least 85% occupied to maximize the loan proceeds. When you consider the 1.15x DSCR and 35 year amortization, HUD will allow you to maximize leverage to get the construction loan paid off and return equity to your investors.
