A folder of AI skills goes stale fast. Someone tweaks the brand voice on a Tuesday and nobody else knows. So every Halaska OS comes with a change log, and changes need approval before they land. It runs through an MCP, which means it plugs into whatever each person already uses. Claude Code, Cursor, their own agents. Everyone keeps their own setup. Everyone works from the same final, signed-off version.

A one-off project became a multiple six-figure engagement. There was never a pitch to get there. We kept delivering, the trust kept building, and the client kept giving us more responsibility.

More rolling updates to UI by Halaska. We've been designing products for founders for a long time. Building our own kit and shipping improvements into it is still one of the more rewarding parts of the work, and we'll keep adding value here. Updates available: ui.halaska.com Copy the install prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, or your coding tool, and see it in action.

One client. 1.5 years. Around 80% of @chalaska time. The studio's growth stalled while it happened. We were fine with that. It began as a one-off project. As we delivered, trust grew, the relationships got stronger, and the work kept expanding. Before long, Chris and two of our designers weren't just working with the team. We were part of it. Their rituals. Their off-sites. Owning product and design strategy, and the execution behind it. We genuinely enjoyed every bit of it. That kind of focus is what let us really deliver. Engagements like this take a lot out of you. They're also significantly rewarding. That's exactly why we keep them rare. Spread too thin, and the impact gets watered down. People burn out. Clients stop getting what they deserve. Chris has spent years experimenting with how we engage with clients. This model gives him as much fulfilment as a full-time role, without the exclusivity or the permanence.
