Yes, in fact, I do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonald’s should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That’s kind of the whole point of having a job and I can’t believe this is considered a radical position for me to take.

William Nylander says 300 career goals is just another step on his NHL journey
“I mean, it’s just a number. It was nice to score 300, but I don’t want to stop there.
They told me not just about 300, but also about passing Rick Vaive for sixth all-time in Leafs goals. I haven’t really thought too much about that kind of stuff, but obviously, Rick was, or is, an unbelievable guy. I wasn’t old enough, or born yet, to watch him play, but this means something very special.”

Kirill Marchenko on getting to know William Nylander as a person and Nylander reaching 300 career NHL goals:
“300 is a big number, We both try to learn from each other and find the best chemistry we can. He’s unbelievable, and he and Paul are great people who always support me.”
“He’s a good person. We’ve become friends, and he’s a funny guy. He has 300 goals and a lot of NHL experience. We talk more and more about hockey, and I’m happy to play with him. He can drive our line, and it’s nice.”

Auston Matthews on the vibes in the Maple Leafs locker room right now:
“The environment is just so much fun. It’s competitive, guys are joking around and chirping each other. That carries over to the game.
It doesn’t matter who scores, everybody is excited. Everything is about the team, and that’s what’s most important and what’s driving us right now.”
