🚨 WATCH: In a 3-1 vote, Harris County Commissioners Court implements the highest tax rate in its history.
🚨 HOW THIS TAX INCREASE AFFECTS YOU
Hear Mary's story on how increasing property taxes are affecting the home she and her family have lived in for decades. Her experience is just one example of how wasteful government spending leads to higher taxes and places a greater financial burden on families, renters, and businesses.
Commissioner Ramsey's proposal for a flat tax rate was voted down during last Commissioners Court, and now Harris County is headed toward the highest tax rate in county history.
Next Commissioners Court is on Thursday, September 17, as Commissioner Ramsey continues to advocate for budget cuts. Tune in or sign up to make your voice heard: agenda.harriscountytx.gov/
