We are sad to learn that Japanese writer RyΕ« Murakami has passed away at 74 years old.
Murakami wrote the 1997 novel AUDITION which was adapted into Takashi Miike's horror masterpiece.
He also wrote the novels Almost Transparent Blue and Coin Locker Babies.
Rest in Peace.
