For more than 100 years, we Albertans wanted in. We didn’t want to leave Canada. We wanted to be part of it. We wanted to be equal partners in Confederation. We wanted our voices respected. We wanted a fair share of the prosperity we helped build. But over time it became clearer and clearer that the system wasn’t built that way. Canada’s political and economic system was designed around the priorities of the Laurentian elite. Decisions affecting the West are routinely made thousands of miles away by people who neither understand nor respect the realities of life in Alberta. Still, we Albertans tried to make it work. Even in 2022 during the trucker convoy, we were proudly waving Canadian flags. We weren’t rejecting Canada. We were trying to save it. We were asking for things we believed were guaranteed in a free country: • Freedom to work • Freedom to speak • Freedom of religion • An end to censorship • The right to make personal medical decisions Millions of Canadians loudly agreed! But what happened instead? Peaceful protesters were called extremists. Truckers were jailed. Bank accounts were frozen. And many Canadians began to realize something uncomfortable: In Canada, our rights are not absolute. The very first clause of the Charter says: “The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.” — Section 1, Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms In other words, politicians can limit what we call rights when those things become inconvenient. Which means they are really privileges. For many Albertans, that moment was a turning point. We realized something important. We had spent a century trying to make Canada work. Now we have the opportunity to build something better. Not through violence. Not through chaos. But through the same peaceful civic actions that defined the convoy, and through: Democracy. Petitions. Referendums. Constitutional change. Alberta can build a country where freedoms are inalienable. Where free speech cannot be silenced. Where bodily autonomy is respected. Where government power is tightly limited. A country built with freedom by design. And ironically, by doing that, Alberta may end up helping Canada too. Because when people see a society that is freer, more prosperous, and more accountable, it inspires change. In that sense, Alberta independence isn’t about abandoning Canada. It might actually be the thing that forces Canada to become better. In 2022 we carried the Canadian flag because we wanted to save Canada. Today we carry the Alberta flag because we are ready to build something freer. And if we succeed… The rest of Canada might finally see what freedom actually looks like.

DID YOU KNOW? Trudeau’s refugees are getting a FREE $81,760 a year from the Liberal government? $80 FUCKING GRAND! That’s $20,000 MORE than the average Canadian salary - and it’s TAX FREE!! Explain to me HOW THE FUCK IS THIS FAIR to all of us who have worked, are working, & continue to work REAL jobs & pay taxes - not sitting on our asses or out protesting & and being a nuisance? WHY THE FUCK SHOULD WE BE PAYING THIS?
People claiming to be refugees in Canada get $224.00 per day from our Government to eat and stay in a hotel room. That works out to be $81,760 per year. $20,000 more than the average Canadian Salary. Absolutely unbelievable.

We must put CANADA FIRST.   That is why Common Sense Conservatives condemn President Trump’s massive, unjust and unjustified tariffs on Canada’s already weak economy. Canada is the United States’ closest neighbour, greatest ally and best friend. We share the longest undefended border and fought alongside Americans in two world wars, Korea and Afghanistan, where 158 of our brave men and women died helping the U.S. avenge the 9/11 attacks. There is no justification whatsoever for this treatment.       The Liberals must put aside their partisan interests and recall Parliament now to pass a Canada First Plan that will:    1. Retaliate with dollar-for-dollar tariffs carefully aimed at maximizing impact on American companies while minimizing impact on Canadian consumers. That means targeting U.S. products that we can make ourselves, buy elsewhere or do without. For example, we must retaliate against American steel and aluminium, as Canadians can make those vital products at home.    2. Put all the tariff revenues into help for affected workers and businesses; Government should not keep a dime of the new revenue.    3. Pass a massive emergency Bring It Home Tax Cut to bolster the economy, stop inflation and save and create jobs. Canada needs a massive tax cut on work, investment, energy, homebuilding and making stuff at home. The Liberal carbon tax and capital gains tax hikes must be the first on the chopping block.     4. Immediately scrap the Liberal anti-resource law C-69 and greenlight LNG plans, pipelines, mines, factories, and port expansions to overseas markets.     5. Bring in truly free trade within Canada by knocking down interprovincial barriers to help replace lost north-south trade with east-west trade and to make us self-reliant.   6. Rebuild our military and take back control of our borders to regain the confidence of our partners, assert our sovereignty, protect our people and put Canada First.      We will protect our economy, defend our sovereignty, bring home production and paycheques and never back down. We will put Canada First—now and always.

My true story on O'Leary versus Dickinson: I asked both to speak at AI awards to celebrate Canadian startup entrepreneurs. It was 2014 I believe. O'Leary said yes; on his own dime, he flew to Canada and did it; he hung around and had dinner and drinks with everyone. She said yes too but only if the attendees (startups) paid her $50k (may have been slightly less), if she could sell her book, and if I could get her a limo .... One truly supports startups in Canada and gives back. The other not so much unless you pay her.
Arlene Dickinson, who was appointed to PM Trudeau's Council on Canada-U.S. Relations, says Kevin O'Leary "isn't authorized to speak on behalf of Canadians" and accuses O'Leary of "negotiating against us."

How about this for building a “Team Canada 🇨🇦” approach? 1. Stop threatening the livelihoods of tens of thousands of Albertans & Canadians via an energy export tax or ban. 2. Immediately start construction on the Northern Gateway & Energy East pipelines to diversify our customer base to Europe, Asia and our own country 3. Tell Germany, Japan and the rest of the world that there is, in fact, a “business case” for Canadian oil and gas to be sold to them 4. Repeal the unconstitutional and job killing production cap, electricity regs and C-69 5. Treat with respect, and as an equal partner, the Alberta taxpayers that have been transferring hundreds of billions to Quebec, the Maritimes and even Ontario, for decades. Let’s start there on building our “Team Canada” approach shall we?

You act surprised. We are reaping what you sowed. This is what happens when a Prime Minister spends 9 years pushing toxic woke identity politics, dividing and subdividing people by race, gender, vaccine status, religion, region, age, wealth, etc. On top of driving people apart, you systematically break what used to bring us together, saying Canada is a “post-national state” with “no core identity.” You erased our veterans and military, the Famous Five and even Terry Fox from our passport to replace them with meaningless squirrels, snowflakes and a drawing of yourself swimming as a boy. You opened the borders to terrorists and lawbreakers and called anyone who questioned it racist. You send out your MPs to say one thing in a mosque and the opposite in a synagogue, one thing in a mandir and the opposite in a gurdwara. You have made Canada a playground for foreign interference. You allowed Iran’s IRGC terrorists to legally operate here for four years after they murdered 55 of our citizens in a major unprovoked attack. You passed laws that release rampant offenders from prison within hours of their 80th arrest. And what is the result? Assassinations on Canadian soil, firebombings of synagogues, extremist violence against mandirs and gurdwaras, over 100 churches burned or vandalized (with barely any condemnation from you), all for a total 251% more hate crime. And, while you were dancing, Montreal was burning. We won’t let you divide us anymore. Call an election now. We will fire you and reclaim our citizenship, our values, our lives, our freedom and, most of all, our country.
What we saw on the streets of Montreal last night was appalling. Acts of antisemitism, intimidation, and violence must be condemned wherever we see them. The RCMP are in communication with local police. There must be consequences, and rioters held accountable.

2-2 Those who are linking OPEC+ cuts to US elections: a ban on drilling on federal land was an election platform! Those who are saying the cut supports Russia, by this logic, any rules that limit drilling in US & EU supports Russia! Stop the nonsense!

1-2 In principles, a ban on drilling on federal land and in federal waters, and a ban on fracking, is no different from an OPEC+ production cut. It is illogical for those who want to ban drilling and fracking to blame OPEC+ for a production cut.
