On Remembrance Sunday, we remember with thanksgiving and sorrow those who gave their lives in the two World Wars, and in conflicts past and present. We will remember them. Let us pray for all who suffer as a result of conflict in the world today. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, let us pray for peace.

During November in 🇺🇸, your friend with #epilepsy might say "Happy Epilepsy Awareness Month!". It's OK to say it back! It's our simple yet powerful way to spark conversation, educate others, and bring much-needed visibility to an often invisible condition. #EpilepsyAwarenessMonth

Recovering from a seizure is draining. Asking a recovering person "How can I help?" can often feel overwhelming. Instead, take action, offer concrete ideas, ask for permission, and simply step in to make a meal or run an errand. #EpilepsyAwareness #NationalEpilepsyAwarenessMonth

Muscle memory is actually stored in the brain. #Epilepsy is a neurological condition and not a mental illness. Love doesn't start in the heart. What do our brains have to do to get some respect? #NationalEpilepsyAwarenessMonth #NEAM #EpilepsyAwareness

Kindness heals the person who gives it as much as the one who receives it. When you make kindness your home, your heart starts to open and mend. Loving-kindness carries its own warmth, and when it passes from one Soul to another, people who are sensitive to energy can feel it, almost like a current in the room. We are all connected, and those connections are always shifting, so each one is worth treasuring. Let yours be generous and full of love. In every moment you have the chance to add something pure to the world, and kindness is the simplest way to do it.

#Epilepsy can be straightforward to manage for some, yet extraordinarily complex for others. While nearly 70% of individuals achieve seizure freedom with their very first anti-seizure med, ~30% live with med-resistant Epilepsy. #EpilepsyAwarenessMonth

"I don't live in the USA, can I still celebrate National Epilepsy Awareness Month?" Why not? #Epilepsy affects an estimated 65 million people worldwide, crossing every border and continent. Raising #EpilepsyAwareness matters everywhere!
Yes. I had a concussion injury at the age of six & then two grand mals at the age of fourteen. It was then that I was put onto anti-epileptic medication. At the age of 18 I was taken off them for 5 years (best not to ask…) but soon put on them again. It’s been a while now… 😐
