I bet some people are starting to panic now, lol!
A "marriage" built on lies isn't a commitment—it’s a crime. 💍❌ Last week, HSI San Juan arrested Modestina Villanueva Javier, a Dominican national and Erick Martinez Aulet, a U.S. citizen. Both were indicted on marriage fraud and conspiracy charges. Marriage is a legal and personal commitment to build a life together. When that commitment is faked simply to bypass immigration laws, it becomes a serious federal offense. Integrity matters. HSI is dedicated to ensuring that the path to legal status remains legitimate and that those who manipulate it face the consequences. There is proof that our ancestors sold each other into slavery. Slavery was a business back then and there was no need to hide how you got the slaves. You bought them from this or that person for a certain amount...simple. This information is not hard to find.
Replying to @JamaicaGleaner
The argument that Africans captured their own people -from opposing tribes to be exact- and sold them to Europeans has been making the rounds for ages. To make that a rationale for dismissing the reparations demand, is to be intellectually complicit in the manipulation of history

Ask them: - Who are you? - What value system do you live by? - What are your goals? - What motivates you? - What's your purpose in life? - What is your political leaning? If they can't answer these in a meaningful way, they're not ready.

Today we are incredibly grateful for the courage and quick action by pilot Cpt. Smit Machchhar who was stabbed by his copilot on FZ1073, yet still managed to open the cockpit door and call for help before collapsing. His heroism in the moment of crisis saved over 170 lives today. Israelis are all wishing him a full recovery and are thankful for his leadership. 🙏🏽 🇮🇱 🤝 🇮🇳

You cannot call yourself a Christian and hate the Jews and Israel. Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with your belief system if that is the case.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres said: “I have never seen killing and destruction like Gaza in all my years as Secretary-General.” According to even the most critical reports, Guterres, 70,000 people were killed in the war in Gaza, a large proportion of them Hamas terrorists. During your years as Secretary-General: more than 600,000 people were massacred or starved to death in Ethiopia. 377,000 died in Yemen — that figure appears in reports issued by your own organization. 150,000 were killed in Sudan and 12 million were displaced. Hundreds of thousands have been buried in Ukraine. You didn’t see it? They died before your eyes. You simply looked the other way, because the Jews couldn’t be blamed.

People do crazy things. Most of it is driven by emotions, e.g., fear, hate, envy, etc.

Apparently, whenever you point out facts about what’s happening in this country, you’re “kissing politicians’ ass.” Yet ask some of these same people who their MP is, which constituency they live in, when constituency day is, who their councillor is, which division they’re in, when Parliament sits, or what the CDF is and it’s pure “mi nuh know.” 🤣 Some of unu know EVERYTHING about who Rose a date, who Akeem a bun har wid, and the latest mix-up involving Ivany, Deyma & FIO, but when it comes to understanding how Jamaica actually works, suddenly everybody clueless. Then a topic start trend and unu jump in with loud opinions, no research, no facts, just “suh di people dem seh.” I’m a proud Labourite, and I have every reason to be. I’ve been around politics from mi eyes deh a mi knees. I know Jamaica’s political history, I’ve experienced pnp governance at every level, and I understand that democracy requires citizens to actually pay attention, participate and hold elected officials accountable. I don’t worship politicians, and I also don’t attack without knowing the facts. The picture below was shared with me a reminder of what some of our schools looked like after Hurricane Melissa. There are 300+ others that suffered significant damage. So saying Government is “doing nothing” is simply not true. @DamionCrawfordJ was asked during a TikTok interview why he hasn’t visited the affected schools, and he replied that he’s not a carpenter. The comrades are angry with him, and with good reason. He should absolutely be visiting affected schools and seeing the recovery efforts for himself. As the Opposition spokesman on education, his job isn’t just to talk, it’s to observe, question, challenge and educate the public with facts. Mind you, the comrades want him to criticize the pace of recovery, which is perfectly reasonable once there is logic and evidence behind the criticism. My biggest issue is this, too many people take absolutely no interest in understanding how their country is governed, yet somehow become the loudest critics when a political topic starts trending. You cannot demand accountability from a position of ignorance. Know your country before you lecture the people who actually pay attention. And yes, another long post for those who value reading. 📚😀✌️ Thanks @shawnwenzel for the pic of what actually happened to the schools after Hurricane Melissa

More than 300 schools were badly/severely damaged by Hurricane Melissa, and some of you genuinely expect all of them to be fully repaired in one year? In the middle of a shortage of construction materials, and now with skilled workers in short supply too? Use some common sense. Btw, do you really think that if rain starts falling, teachers are going to just leave the children sitting outside in the rain? The way some of you reason is ridiculous.
??? Almost a year now hurricane come and because we had the option of having one and two classes outta door the pickney dem must have class outside? In Rainy September and October?
