Now it's Turkey. At what point do we treat the climate emergency as, you know, an emergency?

You didn’t close & are still not managing borders, you assigned a broken test & trace system to an incompetent Tory-linked firm, encouraged dining out when transmission was still too high & mixing at Christmas. You didn’t do everything you could. You didn’t listen to the science.
Asked if the government could have done more to saves lives, PM Boris Johnson says "we did everything that we could to minimise suffering and minimise loss of life in this country as a result of the pandemic" bbc.in/3cb0ak

I lost mum to Covid this Christmas. I am broken and there is a lot to heal. It’s hard to put into words just how extraordinary the @NHSuk nurses and doctors have been, how patient and kind as they led me through every detail of mum’s condition that I hung on to, how composed 1/9

Please take time to object to this planning application to build 221 houses on Britain's only site for Greater Tongue Orchid, as well as 600 Green-winged and several other species. Please retweet and share, instead of just liking 😃😃😃 colchester.gov.uk/wampd/?id=…

I agree, they need to stop villifying farmers and give them the means to work with nature.

There are other ways, they just involve changes. Who is pulling their strings? Because I believe there are many farmers who are incredibly positive about working with nature to restore soils and biodiversity. Rather than villifying farmers/#NFU perhaps work for positive change.
This is massive, and horrific. @NFUtweets is secretly lobbying the government to allow #neonicotinoid pesticides to be reintroduced after Brexit. It tells its members: "Please refrain from sharing this on social media." On the contrary, please RT. campaigns.nfuonline.com/page…

The use of peat is indefensible. What is needed is the brilliant Hort Trade to publicly and proudly condemn any use and apply their combined experience and knowledge to come up with economic, widely available alternatives - now!

#RedList #HazelDormouse Threats: Vulnerable to extinction, most likely due to declines in food sources & habitat. Climate change & reduced woodland management threaten hazel dormouse conservation. They likely benefits from traditional coppicing methods.
