One of the many things that can limit your ability to make profits in trading is the urge to prove yourself to others, sometimes even beyond your actual ability.
What this does to you as a trader?
It makes you see praises from others as your reward. Moreover, this could overtime kill your passion for making money from the chart, which could lead you into faking trading profits.
It鈥檚 very okay to share your chart biases and after-trades with others, but do it with the intention of either teaching them or learning from their opinions and ideas.

Someone actually said I shouldn鈥檛 be telling struggling traders to study, backtest, review their trades, and practice because that advice is for traders who already have an edge. 馃槀
And this is exactly why I鈥檓 making this post.
Some of you genuinely amuse me. So, if a trader is struggling, what exactly should they be doing? Keep taking trades and hope things magically change? 馃槀
How do you expect someone to develop an edge if they鈥檙e not willing to study, test, practice, and refine their approach?
Sometimes, the problem isn鈥檛 that the advice is wrong. It鈥檚 that some people don鈥檛 want to hear what they need to do to get better.
