@VeteranGamerUK A couple of weeks ago, you offered to look at writing me a Python script to assess & compare the share value with the asset value of companies listed on the LSE. Did you get any further with that? You were going to share it with me on GitHub

If not, I wonder if you could advise me with script to look on Companies House, using an input company name I provide and then take a look at the filings data to give an assesment of the lates balance sheet or other financiall information. The data is sometimes a PDF or image!

I need a script that finds the latest filing, determines the format, and then reads it and provides a standard accounting analysis of the data.

This is like fishing only using baitless hooks! It's fun for a while, but soon becomes a bit tedious owing to the ease of hooking a fish! Check out my bio; you should know what my position is on those who have to block as a means of response. @RolandBasilides

Insane how an incident on a flight is getting more attention in Western media than Zionists committing genocide in Palestine.

Mamma mia, cosa ho appena sentito. Colpito e affondato! Vedi cosa è successo in Germania qualche mesetto fa. Ma la chiamano democrazia... - Giuseppe Salamone

If anyone recognises any of these faces from the communist terrorist loving Stand Up To Racism group responsible for harassment and currently causing mayhem on our UK streets, please let me know. I learned yesterday that DeepSeek will not use the word Negro, as it considers it to be a pejorative term! It had no logical reason as to why this did not apply to Asian or Caucasian! It got quite heated with me! I find DS is better than Grok, Bard, Copilot & sometimes much more

They call the English a mongrel people... 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 The science says something better. 🧪👨‍🔬 In 2015 scientists in Oxford tested 2,039 people. Only people whose 4 grandparents were all born within 50 miles of each other. So the map they drew wasn't Britain today. It was Britain in 1885. Before anyone moved. 17 groups across these islands. 🗺️ Cornwall. Wales in pieces. The north. Scotland in pieces. Orkney. And the English were one. One people from Kent to Yorkshire. One group, where everywhere else on the map was many. So where did they come from? In 2022 they went to the graves. ⚱️ 278 people who died here 1,500 years ago. They read what was in them. 3 streams. The Britons who were already here before the Romans. The families who crossed the North Sea after the Romans left. Whole families. As many women as men. Not a wipe-out. They married in. And a third stream from across the Channel, over centuries. 3 streams. 1 river. 🌊 By the Middle Ages the mixing had settled. The map of 1885 still showed it, 900 years on. Same fields. Same church. Same names on the gravestones. That's not a mongrel. A mongrel is a mix nobody meant. This is a recipe. 3 ingredients. 1,000 years to set. 🏺 And here's the part that matters. A lineage isn't a wall. It's a line. People who kept the same place and the same ways, then handed them on. The Normans joined it. The Huguenots joined it. Anyone can. The price is keeping it. They teach you the English are a mixture. So is every people on earth. What they don't teach you is what it became. 1,500 years on the same ground. Not many can say that. That's why Proud Of Us is here. To teach the next generation who we really are. No sponsors. No ads. No agenda. Just people like you. If you can, stand with us. If you can't, send this to someone who's never been told. They said mongrel. That doesn't change a thousand years of lineage. It just means nobody told them. Let's teach our next Generation the truth.👇 👉proudofus.co.uk/support 👈 Be Part Of Us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

In the French Revolution the municipal guards were among the first to experience retribution. I think serving police officers need to be ready to flee at a moment's notice when it inevitably explodes into violence. They have been seen to choose a side & this will not be forgotten
They say oft-repeated language eventually conditions people into the acceptance of a previously taboo subject. So I give you this: "There must be a counter-revolution in England and Britain. If successful, the death penalty must be re-introduced for treason and subversion. The most senior people guilty of these Capital Offences within the government, civil service, military, police, judiciary, media and academia must be hanged if found guilty. They should be made aware of this today, in order that they might change their ways."

The police motorcade escorting migrant buses from Gosport are like nothing we've seen. It tells us that protest works. For sure, it has not stopped any boats, but it has forced the regime to change its working practices. This is a long haul campaign and its much like asymmetric warfare. We saw in Iraq and Afghanistan how the Taliban targeted soft vehicles with IEDs, which forced the British army to re-equip with bigger, heavier MRAPS, and invest more in force protection. That's the same dynamic here. If they want to escort invaders ashore, it's going to cost them. They're going to have to use up all of their police overtime budgets, divert ambulances and invest more in surveillance. They're going to have to fortify their operations - and the RNLI will have to operate under lockdown conditions. It's resource attrition, and like the Taliban, we are testing their commitment to sustaining such an economically costly policy. Eventually, the optics of it become politically unsustainable.

Jacob Rees-Mogg has been talking about duty and upset people, quite rightly. If war comes, he says, people must join up. Some may have to die. That is how countries last. Rome fell when citizens paid others to fight. The line would be ordinary if it came from a man of the nation. It is damaging because it comes from a man who once seemed to stand with the nation against something else. A few years ago Michael Rainsborough and I argued that Western government had ceased to be national in the ordinary sense and become imperial: a system of management over peoples, not a home belonging to a people. Empires do not need citizens. They need subjects, communities, and a priesthood of progress. The nation state asks for loyalty among equals. The new arrangement asks for deference to a civilising mission aimed, more and more, at the historic population itself. Brexit was a sovereign native revolt against that. It was not a tantrum about trade. It was a people saying they would not be administered as a province of a postnational order. In 2016–19 Rees-Mogg looked as if he understood the distinction. He treated the referendum as a valid instruction. That put him on the national side of the only argument that mattered. The slouch in the Commons in September 2019 was easy to misread as mere insult. At the time it could be taken as something colder and, in its way, political: magisterial unconcern toward the people who thought the vote was an outrage to be managed away. He would not sit up for them. Many of us forgave the manners because the target of the manners seemed right. Turley was correct that the pose was ugly. She was wrong about what the fight was. The new interview wrecks the alibi. The same loucheness is still there. The object has changed. He is no longer declining to perform anxiety for the postnational court. He is reciting its war liturgy and calling it duty. The men who are to kill and die are not being asked to defend a bordered people. They are being invited to service an imperium that still cannot hold a coast, still treats national self-assertion as a public-order problem, and still speaks the language of progress when it means rule. That is why the sofa now looks different. In 2019 the sprawl could pass for aristocratic refusal. In 2026 it reads as arrogance, detachment, dishonesty and stupidity: the ease of a man who will not live the risk he names. On Russia the sermon moralises what does not need moral theatre. States act from interest. Russia has a historically intelligible one in its near abroad. Kennan and others said that driving a victorious alliance onto the ruins of Russian power would produce a collision. The collision came. One may dislike Moscow’s answer. Ascribing ‘brutality’ as if it were the point is a progressive habit: turn strategy into sin so that the only virtuous pose is imperial supervision of the sinner. As wars are fought, this one has not been the cartoon of indiscriminate slaughter the commentary requires. Whether one grants that or not is secondary. The primary fact is simpler. Russia is behaving like a nation. Britain’s elite is not. That is the disgrace in what Rees-Mogg said. He had the chance to remain what Brexit briefly suggested he was: a spokesman for a country that still existed as a country. Instead he talks now like a provincial officer of the progressive imperium, surprised that the natives might object to dying for a project that has spent a generation dissolving them. Duty, from that perspective, doesn’t come across honestly. It feels like the Union flag being draped deceitfully over the progressive imperial agenda. The slouch in 2019 was a tell. Then it said: I will not be hustled by the managerial elite. Now it says: I am comfortable among them. A foolish man, which I now think he is, can be right only sometimes. The blithe pose now grates heavily. I wouldn’t trust the lives of my son and daughter to this project and its exponents. Just back TF off.

This reads like good advice to me. The perception problem Tim and crew have is that don't appear ready to state that migrants need to be repatriated quickly. They are still at the virtue-signalling stage: refugees are welcome just that here in our village is not suitable for them
Replying to @PiddingtonRoars
I already gave you my advice. A video from the village apologising to the rest of the country and that they can now see the damage illegal migration has done to the wider population. Not just your 3.68 square miles. This action will turn public insouciance into active support. That will be newsworthy and scare the hell out of the very people who have ignored you. No amount of pleadings (including legal) are going to make them stop. You need to light a fire under it and this is exactly how to do it. Don’t and you’ll live to regret it. No man is an island and that’s exactly where you currently stand.

Brilliant research, diligently executed, presenting a fair and balanced essay, detailing the untruths that are being traded by the RNLI and those ideologically allied with it, but only because the RNLI are landing illegal immigrants in the UK. Otherwise, they would not care.

With the criminal dinghy people, the RNLI hides behind its legal obligation to save lives. However, the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue (SAR Convention). (Chapter 1, paragraph 1.3.11) only requires intervention in the “Distress Phase”. Through long-standing use, “danger” or “distress” has acquired very specific meanings, taken as: “A situation wherein there is a reasonable certainty that a person, a vessel or other craft is threatened by grave and imminent danger and requires immediate assistance". The vessel must be actively foundering, capsizing, or passengers must be drowning. If a migrant boat is overcrowded and unseaworthy but is still upright and making forward progress under its own power, this does not constitute “distress”. In law, the RNLI is neither obliged to attend nor intervene in the vast majority of cases. The dinghy occupants are intent on breaching UK immigration law, so they have no right of innocent passage under UNCLOS. It is, therefore, for Border Force to intercept the boats, to arrest and detain the occupants. The RNLI is being used as an “overflow” reserve when Border Force vessels run out of capacity. That is not the proper role of the RNLI. It is for government properly to resource its border control activities. .

If this wasn't meet and greet, what was it? Please read report below 👍 RNLI launched at 10.11 am to meet and greet at 12.24. Time of launching. Migrants safe in French waters. Lifeboat definitely not launched for an emergency. Your thoughts please.🤔 Also please share so all can see the facts. 👍
