For those who love trees and hate tree removal on golf courses, please give 90 seconds to Gil Hanse. He explains why he removed the trees at Aronimink. Can you argue anything he says? As a tree defender myself, he makes a good case.

Biltmore Forest Country Club, a place I’ve been long overdue to see, did not disappoint. Donald Ross did lot of outstanding work in the mountains of western North Carolina. At Biltmore Forest, nestled within and surrounded by the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, he had a wonderful canvas to start with, and delivered one of his best and most beautiful.

When we see courses looking and playing their absolute best during televised golf events, it's always good to remember that it takes more than meets the eye to make that happen 👇

The course conditions seen during televised golf can leave golfers with some pretty grand ideas for their home courses. It's important to remember that the conditions we see on TV require more than meets the eye, and more than most budgets have to give 👇
