I am 101% sure that none of the people in the Red Wings organization involved in trade talks would tell Larkin's camp the contents of any offers they've received. So some team out there is feeding Larkin this info.
If only we knew who Larkin was taking cues from. 馃
Larkin actually kinda screwed himself here. He could've kept playing bad, and continue to get paid. And if he were bad enough they might've just sat him in the press box and pay him to sit.
Now every day he doesn't get traded, HE loses money. DET has no reason to capitulate now.
One Piece Chapter 1197: This is legitimately one of the best One Piece chapters I've read. Action, symbolism, emotional depth, character arc fulfillment, memorable/meaningful quotes.
Just payoff after payoff after payoff.
Larkin hitting the nuclear button on the Red Wings kinda reminds me of when Sasuke betrayed the village because Naruto and the other villagers were softening his heart and weakening his resolve for vengeance.
Playing with the team was weakening his resolve to form Superteam USA.
Since this looks like Larkin has played his last game in the Winged Wheel, I'll say it was nice that he ended his time here with a crucial game tying goal en route to a tough, high emotion road shootout win against the best player in the world and former DET coach Mike Babcock.
I swear to you I started writing this tweet before J.B. put Taurean Prince in with the starters.
This Pistons organization has two different visions happening right now.
Ebuka Okorie and the deep bench checks in with Ausar and Ron. They go on a quick run to close the gap with Ebuka and Ausar as the playmakers.
J.B. Bickerstaff: "Ah yes, this is clearly because of Taurean Prince. I'll put him with the starters."
The Red Wings subjected Michal Postava to every torment a rookie goalie could possibly endure. Kicked own goals, defensive breakdowns, back-to-back penalty kills, overtime against McDavid and Draisaitl, a SHOOTOUT against McDavid and Draisaitl...
And Postava weathered it all.
Can we just trade Larkin already so we can fast forward to the game where Moritz Seider absolutely levels him?
This third line for the Wings keeps getting stranded in our zone for extended time because none of these fools can move the puck AT ALL.
Imagine your first NHL start as a goalie is against two Hart trophy winners, and your own teammates are knocking the puck into your net on top of it.
If Ebuka Okorie gets minutes today, remember he's a 19 year old rookie in his first true NBA minutes.
Frustrating game, but the entire Lions skill group emoting on the Packers here was pretty great.
Also it's not taunting because they're pointing past the sticks, not at any particular player.
I always love how Haliburton really is the biggest fan of the Thompson twins. I used to get irritated with Hali, but after some time I've realized he's probably in the top 3 coolest guys in the NBA, and I love his game.
Steph's shooting.
Kyrie's handles.
Joker's basketball IQ.
The players weigh in: What鈥檚 one skill they鈥檇 add to their bag from anyone in the league? 馃馃帓
