This didn’t happen overnight. We kept pushing. Residents told me about high charges and how difficult it was to challenge managing agents. I took those issues to Parliament and now the Government has committed to independent regulation and mandatory licensing ✅

This former MOD site, which once housed military personnel, now sits derelict - serving both as an eyesore and a reminder of the urgent need to refurbish empty homes in the middle of a housing crisis. I’m raising this issue with the GLA and the Government.

Great to pop by The Chimes to see the Shopmobility team deliver their present-wrapping service. They’ll be back in The Chimes on the 23rd between 10:00 and 19:00, and then at The Pavilions on Christmas Eve from 10:00 to 16:00. All proceeds go towards their amazing charity!

A very sunny Uxbridge today - as we let residents know about our campaign to save the Uxbridge Post Office. 🌞 Residents agree it’s absolutely vital we have a post office in the town centre with the current site going, due to redevelopment. 📮🪧 ✍🏻 survey.labour.org.uk/2axx5kp…

Grateful to everyone who’s joined Hillingdon Together so far. Brilliant to see organisations, faith leaders, local politicians and residents coming together to promote unity and tolerance over division. Add your name here: sprw.io/stt-ZBDC2

Out this weekend speaking to residents in Hillingdon with a fantastic @HillingdonLab team. From street cleaning, community safety & fixing pavements - there was lots of feedback about the changes needed to make Hillingdon safer, cleaner & fairer. 🚔 🚮 🌳

As we grapple with the horrific news of Wayne Broadhurst’s murder, I know people are angry, scared, and want answers. Our focus must now be on delivering justice. Later today, I’ll meet with the Home Office to call for a full review into how this was allowed to happen.

Whilst words cannot begin to alleviate the pain caused by such horror, my thoughts are with the victims and their families after yesterday’s triple stabbing in Hillingdon. We must now focus on ensuring that all questions are answered and that justice is delivered. My statement:

Well done to the @MPSHillingdon team for an engaging public event in South Ruislip to talk to residents about local policing. The feedback was clear - we need more police on the street & a front counter open in Hillingdon. I’ll keep pressing for the resources we need 🚔 👮🏽‍♀️

More great news for our borough! The Government has chosen Hillingdon as a pilot site for the new Neighbourhood Hub health scheme.️ These 3 new Neighbourhood Hubs will mean: ✅ Care closer to home ✅ Fewer trips to hospital ✅ Reduced barriers to accessing health services

I hosted a community consultation with parents & teachers on fixing the broken SEND system. For too long, people have been failed. This Government wants to change that. Complete my survey to have your say: sprw.io/stt-wg3mM
