What a coincidence! The day atter he’s elected Governor, David Crowley’s Milwaukee County Executive’s office announces that Crowley was actually running a massive budget deficit that they just discovered. We point out the obvious lie on Thursday’s edition of “The Dan O’Donnell Show.”

HEARTBREAKING: A father who lost his son on 9/11 is desperately searching for his hat after losing it at the #Steelers game in Tampa Bay this week.
Patrick Siewak says his hat flew off near the escalators and was picked up by another fan.
The hat contains a special 9/11 memorial pin honoring his late son.
He is offering a reward for its return.
Please help spread the word and reunite this father with something that means so much to him.

Asad Aliweyd, the spokesperson at Wednesday’s press conference, is the executive director of a nonprofit ordered to repay $1.1 million to the state for “fraudulent claims,” according to KARE 11’s own reporting.
This was not mentioned in any Minnesota mainstream media report from yesterday, in case you were wondering.

"This is not a Somali community [issue] … This is a gun violence issue," one speaker said.
Another speaker, Asad Aliweyd, said: “This is not simply a Somali problem. It’s a youth violence and gun violence problem and we must address it together."
Aliweyd is the executive director of a nonprofit that was ordered to pay back $1.1 million to the state for “fraudulent claims,” according to reports. He has not been charged with any crime.

INCREDIBLE: A police officer pulled over a young Black man near the university. His license had expired.
"Why are you driving on an expired license?" the officer asked.
The young man said softly, "I just lost my night job. What I have left is just enough for food, rent, and bills. I'm from out of state. I'm here alone for university. And I have a job interview this morning."
The officer could have followed the book and impounded the car. He didn't.
He parked his cruiser, helped the young man straighten his tie, got in the passenger seat, and drove him to the interview himself.
They walked in together. The officer apologized for them being late and explained why. They took a selfie. Wished him luck.
He got the job. And later, he got a temporary permit to drive until he could afford to renew his license.
That's what humanity looks like.

I encourage everyone to take a few minutes and watch this news conference with Congressman Tom Tiffany following last night’s emergency plane landing on Lake Wausau.
Listen to how he responds to an experience that very easily could have ended his life and the life of his pilot.
You hear gratitude,not self-pity. Gratitude for the skill and courage of his pilot. Gratitude for the first responders who came out into the darkness and got them safely off the water. Gratitude for the people who cared for them afterward. And, most importantly, gratitude to God.
I believe God was there.
Moments like this reveal something about a person. When you have just faced the possibility that your life could end in an instant, titles, campaigns and politics become very small. What matters is faith, character, courage, gratitude and how you treat the people around you.
If you are still deciding who you want to be the next Governor of Wisconsin, I hope you will watch this.
I supported Tom Tiffany before this happened, and after listening to him today, my support is only stronger. His strength, steadfastness, humility and humanity in the aftermath of something this frightening speak volumes to me.
This is the man I want to be the next Governor of Wisconsin.
