TENNESSEE VOTERS REPORT MACHINES SWITCHING DEMOCRATIC SELECTIONS TO REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES
Voters in Madison and Williamson counties, Tennessee, have reported problems with voting machines displaying Republican candidates when they intended to select Democrats.
In Madison County, voter Lisa White told 39 News she noticed an unintended Republican selection while reviewing her ballot and went back to correct it. The Jackson-Madison County NAACP and other community organizations have also raised concerns after receiving complaints and called for voters to carefully review their ballots.
In Williamson County, other voters have separately reported similar experiences, including machines repeatedly displaying Republican candidates instead of their intended Democratic choices.
Tennessee election officials dispute that votes are being flipped and urge voters to review their selections and paper records before casting their ballots.
📦 If your ballot displays a selection you did not make, alert a poll worker before casting it or ask for a paper ballot.
