My website is now up: mysticlegacyreadings.com/
However, if you'd like to schedule a Prashna/Horary reading that is still best done through my DM/email.
I've had some odd success doing sports betting with astrology. I've mentioned it before. At least once I had a confounding experience where the astrology absolutely said that a certain team would win. I placed a bet on them, and, after doing so, I had complete psychic clarity that the indicated team would actually lose. I withdrew my bet and saved my money. Even after review the astrology of it was not clear to me. I do not have an answer for this
In Taoist sorcery these pairings are known as the "8 Spirit Helpers."
There are 64 hexagrams in the I Ching. It is a pairing of 8 trigrams over and over again. The 8 trigrams each form an especially concentrated pairing when they are duplicated, i.e when the same trigram appears on both sides of the hexagram
The I Ching is alchemical, its the pairing of the inner and the outer, in perfect harmony. It helps a person align with the will of God
With horary astrology, it is critical that the astrologer know EXACTLY what is being asked. Specificity is everything. The astrologer can ask as many questions as is necessary to get the full picture before proceeding
Taurus is so stubborn and fixed you can't even get them to do something they want to do if it wasn't their idea
Hexagram 63, one of my most favorite hexagrams in the I ching. Water as the upper trigram (top three lines), and fire as the bottom trigram (lower three lines). Pulling it means that you have INNER KNOWING that cannot be dominated, but that outer circumstances dont match that. You need to wait.
The image is the anxious fox which crosses the river too soon. Wait to cross the river until you have a better position. Its very simple.
The I Ching asks all of us to connect to the primordial. The first timekeeper, the first healer, the first astrologer, diviner, or shaman. There was a first for all of these. If you do any of these practices you are connected to that person. Feel into them, what do you intuit?
THE most common aspect for someone to wind up in, and more importantly, stay in an abusive relationship is having an afflicted moon.
The reason is stupid simple: if someone has an afflicted moon, they are most comfortable in tough situations. They get mistreated and they go "this feels right to me"
Hexagram 22. I've posted on it before, its translated name in English is: "Grace". Its an excellent sigil for cultivating beauty, and attraction to refined things.
Its architecture is thus: upper trigram, Mountain ☶, lower trigram: Fire ☲
The mountain incubates and carries up the illuminating ideal of fire. The mountain makes it visible and gives it natural space to grow. Beauty always has a natural quality, like good things have been given the room they need. The mountain detaches, the fire embraces
Many traditions of the world celebrate a day of the dead, or season of the dead around the end of October/beginning of November. Its a natural time to do it, as the suns rays decrease and darkness sweeps the land. However, its held in many secret societies that the Great Deluge was known to have happened around the cross-quarter day after the Autumn equinox (Halloween/Samhain). It was around this date when most of humanity was buried beneath the waves...
I just logged in via mobile for the first time in a few months and I have dozens of DM's not visible from desktop, so I apologize for that. You can always double message if you were lost in the DM foray.
Saturn in the most ancient literature is always associated with water, and especially persons of a nautical bend. at some point in the history of astrology Saturn becomes airy and loses its watery significations.
However, you will notice both of Saturns signs have water in them: Capricorn, the sea-goat, and Aquarius: the water bearer/pourer.
The Indians by and large calculated the start of a day from sunrise, while the Jews, Assyrians and Babylonians calculated the start of a day from sunset. The Chinese calculated it from midnight.
Really makes you think
The sun moves 1 degree of ecliptic arc per day. The moon on average moves 13 degrees. The difference between these is 12 degrees, which is the definition of a lunar day, or Tithi
Many studies have been done on traffic and they've concluded the obvious truth (everytime) that only a couple slow A-holes are enough to jam up huge numbers of people.
I believe this protective feature exists in the I ching because it incorporates mystery right into its architecture. The trigram water ☵ means mystery. the inexorable part of reality that can never be known. Every fact you learn leads you to further mystery. Its a foundational concept of reality. And according to the I ching, its 1/8th of all reality.
The I ching admits we cant know everything, and astrology dosent. That is the most primary difference in their energetic make ups. Ironically, it makes the I ching more secure, as only one of those assertions is true.
Now take the I Ching.
The I Ching is the opposite in a sense. Its what I would call a closed system. 8 trigrams, 64 hexagrams, and 384 lines of commentary. Of course these can be combined infinitely, and more exegetical literature has been written about the I ching than the Bible, but my point stands.
When I say its a closed system, I mean that its so inherently logical, and that it has boundaries naturally written into it that make it very hard to stretch past its limits
Let me give you an example: with astrology people do this constantly. They take a description of a piece of medical astrology, and they apply it to their relationship. they are able to do that because astrology does not have built in guard rails. Its the wild west, which leaves the door open to amazing research, but it also makes astrology dangerous, as most people only know enough to get themselves into trouble. Likewise, they can enter a phase or state of spiritual psychosis, I've seen it many times.
The I ching is so genius, that this is virtually impossible. I've never heard of someone being psychologically injured by the I ching. It dosen't happen.
Many advanced astrologers or tarot card readers try out the I ching and say something along the lines of "its a spiritual fortune cookie, I know I'm missing a lot, it makes no sense, etc etc".
but in my experience, having used the I ching literallly everyday for 12 years, and for 8 of those years having NO technical knowledge, was that the system had an inherent integrity to it. The oracle holds and cradles you, and does not drop you into the dark and abyssal void of the world of spirit. Some might say its parochial or overly simplistic. But I'd say its simplicity is its genius.
To round out what I am saying about it as a closed system. If you cast a hexagram, the divination is done. You need not cast another, you need not cast cards, or a chart. whereas in astrology, you are always dared to cast another chart, in tarot you are often almost forced to keep laying cards. The oracle protects you from these sophomoric approaches, and it does it even from the earliest stages of its use.
