Thank you to Doug (@P1neCreek), a former Protestant and current atheist, who was kind enough to share his thoughts on Part I of our mini-series called "What Does 'Eat My Flesh' Mean?"!

Here are some of the comments we received on the video:
Ironworthstriking wrote:
"Fascinating video. Really cool to hear an atheist’s view on this. Especially since he used to be a Protestant. It gives him a really good foundation of understanding the topic... He’s clearly a smart guy and we should keep him in our prayers!"
HalfHotHalfCold wrote:
"All things considered this is an amazing video and perspective."
freddavis976 wrote:
"The video is stupid. Both creators are stupid. Every comment I've read is stupid."
MrsYasha1984 wrote:
"I want to thank Doug for his thoughtful and calm interaction with the matter. He seems like a lovely man and I will pray for him and his wife, who surely is lovely too!"
Leighton Flowers (@Soteriology101) said:
"In my experience with Doug, ...he's a nice guy and everything, but in my experience, atheists, like Doug, they're seeking to disprove Christianity; that's the whole purpose of their channel. And therefore, ...he will often side with the most difficult, strangest, or difficult to swallow pill being presented. Why? Because that serves his purpose as an atheist. And so, he wants (it seems to me) people to think that true Christianity, as the Bible is teaching it, is the most difficult and hard to grasp thing."
What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments!

To Doug,
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Part II, if you have the time. The illogical arguments that certain Protestants are using are wild (...and, at times, hilarious).
Let us know if you review it, and we can tell our audience to tune in. Thank you!

Once again, Ferris is one HECK of a follow. Great on X, but DEFINITELY look him up on YouTube! His videos are LONG and INDEPTH SCRIPTURAL DEEP DIVES, and... he's funny, to boot! He's in my top 10 Catholic Channels for sure... possibly top 5... or he would be if he'd post MORE OFTEN *ahem ahem nudge nudge* 😉
But seriously, I've been following his channel for... 7 years now...?
Every argument for Protestantism boils down to the same thing, which is:
“X is what I believe in, because I personally have chosen to interpret the Word of God in a way that is not at odds with X (but I totally could be wrong about my personal interpretation and X could be completely false)”.
Whether the argument comes from someone like @Soteriology101 or @gavinortlund, who typically seem to at least TRY putting thought into their arguments, or whether it comes from the lazy/trash content created by folks like @taco_talks, @ApologiaStudios, and @needGod_net, the result is always the same. Their argument is nothing more than simply: “I believe in X…because I said so.”
They are willing to believe in the “Word of God” IF the “Word of God” can be interpreted in the way that their “Words of Men” choose to interpret them.

Don’t be a Protestant.
Be a Christian.
Believe in Jesus.
Jesus told His followers to listen to His Church (Matthew 18), so when it comes to finding the correct interpretation of the Bible, don’t listen to Protestant men, listen to Jesus.
God bless!

So glad you are still alive! your videos were influential in getting me to drop the protestant and keep the Christian. Will we be graced with more uploads on the YT in the forseeable future?

Ben (@C2Antiquity) is an ignorant bully who thinks very highly of himself.
I am glad to see that Brayden (@The_Catechumen) didn’t give the bully what he wanted.
Ben once made a three hour long livestream where he was just waiting for me to join him live. He refused to tell me what he wanted to debate, even though I asked him for a topic multiple times. He just kept saying “[come up live]”, because what he really wanted was a guest for his livestream, not an actual debate.
It was pathetic. Someone asked if they could join him, and he told them “no”, because he was waiting for me. Again… he waited for THREE HOURS 🤣
Ben also texted his wife during the livestream, to have her bring him his earbuds, just in case I called in.
How sad is that for Ben’s wife? Her husband sat online for THREE HOURS begging for the company of a man who would never show up. I wonder if she had to comfort him after he got stood up 🤔
Can you imagine what her parents would say to their son-in-law if they found out?
“Explain this to me again, Ben. You spent three hours online, waiting for a man that you never met, when our daughter… your wife… was in the other room? And as if that wasn’t lame enough, you had her fetch you your earbuds, because you were so focused on talking to this man that you never met, that you didn’t want to risk missing him, while you grabbed your own darn earbuds!?!”
Call it whatever you like. I declined an impromptu invitation to your livestream. The absolute meltdown by you and your fanbase is incredibly embarrassing.
"Sat in the livestream chat the whole time"
I was there for maybe 10 minutes of your four-hour livestream. I have neither the time nor the interest to drop everything to "debate" someone online. Especially one whose chosen method of engagement is just arrogance, mockery, lying, and theatrical yapping. Apparently, not being terminally online is cowardice now.

It’s gettin’ there! It’s a longer one. 80 minutes of it are complete so far 👍🏻
Update: Ben (@C2Antiquity) blocked our account again 🤣
Ben talked a big game initially, but, as usual, we brought the facts to the table and Ben went scurrying away to hide behind his block button.
I love it when the bullies flee!
Hey Ben (@C2Antiquity),
Your whole “you ran from me” shtick doesn’t really work when you were the one who blocked our account, thus ending the conversation.
Attached is our conversation with Ben from last year. He refused to give us a debate topic and then he blocked us.
Now he’s accusing us of running.
Still right here, Ben 😏

The Ridiculous Logic of Ben (@C2Antiquity):
Because I supplied supporting evidence for an observation that Brayden (@The_Catechumen) made about Ben’s “join my livestream” attitude, Ben now thinks I should defend EVERYTHING that Brayden has ever said 🤣
Brayden is fully capable of defending his own words; especially against someone as unremarkable as Ben.
(Attachment #1: Ben tries to run away from our actual post; changing to a completely different topic.)
//
Again, if Ben would like to debate anything that I have actually said, then I welcome that! This includes what I chimed in on Brayden’s post about.
If Ben wishes to end the conversation again without introducing a debate topic again, then we are fine with him doing that as well.
(Attachment #2: Our debate offer to anyone who disagrees with our content.)

Ben is a bully. Bullies have a tendency to be predictable.
It’s fun to see the bullies run away.
He even deleted his post 🤣
Come back any time, Ben!
(Attachment #3: Ben leans into his typical bully ways; he later deletes this post. Ben likely realized that the video in our reply to his post was going to make people realize how pathetic Ben has been during this interaction.)
(Attachment #4: Our response to Ben’s post, prior to him deleting it. Here is the video that we attached to Ben’s post: youtu.be/izGCqYDuHUU?is=xmy6…

Our portion on Ben (@C2Antiquity) still rings true today. Looks like his move away from Protestantism didn’t involve a change in his ridiculous “join my livestream” attitude.
At least Kelly Powers joined the debate. Ben just sat on the sideline for hours hoping to have someone join his livestream.
Enjoy! ⬇️

Oh, look who finally unblocked our account 😏
Our debate offer to you still stands, Ben (@C2Antiquity).
Note: “Debates” are not the same as “livestreams”.
I have no interest in joining your livestream, but if you’d like to debate anything I’ve said, then please, feel free to enter into a debate with us.
Here’s the offer again:

Hey Ryan. It’s not that we prefer the Church Fathers over the Bible. It’s that we prefer listening to how the Church Fathers interpret the Bible over how YOU interpret the Bible. Manifestly novel interpretations of the Bible should be rejected, because they could not have truly come from the Apostles.
In my dream last night, @SipsWithSerra took it upon himself to rehabilitate an injured/sick squirrel. The squirrel was in close proximity to my car, which was parked in a public lot, so… naturally… @SipsWithSerra thought the squirrel’s health was my responsibility. He then tried to charge me for his squirrel rehabilitation services and expertise.
How do I decline payment on these invoices without offending @SipsWithSerra?
I think it’s cool that he helped the squirrel, but I don’t want to pay for it. I already have to spend time now disinfecting my car, because he thought it was okay to stick the injured/ailing squirrel in my car’s cup holder, you know… since it was blindfolded.
Anyway, I just want to know what to do before I go to sleep tonight.
Thanks, Internet!
