just finished @HowardBlum's "The Brigade."
I have already thanked the person who recommended it.
This is a real THRILLER !!
Kohberger has only fired off his opening salvo. He has more tricks up his sleeve. He knows something the prosecutors and the defense team don’t: He was there!
"He’s going to let it all spill out carefully until he gets up to his big reveal, and what’s his big reveal? I believe that there was an accomplice...”

This is one of the reasons writers write: to strike a chord in readers. And when it happens, it’s so very gratifying.
Replying to @HowardBlum
I read “The Brigade” years ago, and it was so well written that I still remember many of the events described in the book.
I’m very flattered. And it’s just the encouragement I need as I head in to the final chapters of my latest book.
Did Kohberger have an accomplice? The more facts revealed, the more the mysteries deepen.
Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty to the University of Idaho student murders, evading a court case that could finally have provided answers. Did he act alone? @HowardBlum trib.al/rmF2pGG

Of course the families are justified in demanding that law enforcement not release crime scene photos. There is no public right to know. Rather, this would be voyeurism.
In all documents released, in interviews with prosecutors and law enforcement, there’s been the pretense of news rather than answers to the still large and perplexing mysteries that surround the events of 11/13/22 and aftermath.Answers remain locked away with Kohberger.
How long before a bored prisoner Kohberger starts taunting with hints of where he hid the murder knife? Am still perplexed by the prosecution’s lack of zeal to get to the bottom of things.
Bill Thompson rationalizes plea deal without allocation insisting BK would never explain why. But he would’ve revealed where is knife, whom he targeted, how he left without leaving bloody trail and on and on. These are facts, not subject to interpretation.
The Moscow pd reports now released show not what law enforcement knows, but what they still don’t. They’re mute testimony to the fundamental mistake of a plea deal without an allocution that required answers from Kohberger.
Goncalves family testimony today was a powerful and articulate blast of Old Testament fury. And while Thompson and Hippler fatuously said the time had come to move on, the Goncalves sternly reminded that the past is never past.

Trump called on Judge Hippler to demand Kohberger answer the fundamental question at the root of this case: Why? Why these 4 victims? Will the president’s words sway Hippler at sentencing tomorrow?
Steve Goncalves wants Kohberger to be required at sentencing to say names of the 4 people he murdered. I think Goncalves is right and Judge Hippler should insist as prerequisite for sentencing.
If the knife sheath had not been found tangled in the sheets of Maddie’s bed, would law enforcement still be looking for the killer?
Kohberger defense opposed removing gag order. They claimed it would “jeopardize the integrity of the sentencing process.” Whatever that means? More likely they’re determined to keep whole story hidden for as long as possible.
