SUBMISSIONS OPEN: Women of the North, we're looking for new online contributors covering a wide range of topics and themes.
Whether you're from the North, live in the North or just love the North, we would love to hear your ideas, especially those which champion Northern women.
Loved photographing Calico Collective's new product line - didn't know I needed a striker pot in my life until these cuties. The entire range is beaut and in true Calico fashion, uses natural and earthy tones and textures🌿All shot in @affinityliving and available to buy online!
Even though we had to slightly slow down last year, I'm so proud of what we managed to achieve in 2021. Our northern spirit is still here, and we're more determined than ever to show what the women of the north are made of 👏
This year at NRTH LASS we decided to slow down a bit, but we still got to speak to some very inspiring Northern women, welcomed @bethrdb to our team as resident book reviewer and published some personal takes on lockdown, women's rights and smashing stereotypes...

For a sensitive piece on #NationalGriefAwarenessWeek, I'm looking to speak to people who have experienced a loss over the past 18 months and how they have navigated it + mental health experts/counselors about resources and advice for dealing with grief #journorequest

At last! Back outdoors and photographing again 👏💪 it's been a long few months stuck at home with my camera feeling sorry for itself but last week I got to meet and photograph the very lovely Esther Morch, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
Even managed to catch some sun 🌞
Week = made 🤩 Thank you @empowordjournos for your lovely words - it means so much to have @NRTHLASS recognised 💕
Happy Tuesday💕

I've been out of the reading game for a while (turns out staring at a screen for work all day does nothing for your eyes).
But! I'm now deep into The Midnight Library by @mattzhaig 📚
What's top on your TBR list?

What happened to Sarah Everard has hit home hard for so many women because we make the calculations she did every day too. We take the longer, better-lit route, push the fear aside for the voice that says ‘don't be daft, you've every right to walk home alone at night and be safe’
