What I am gathering today... Comp Madden misses the ability to have blitzes that took advantage of bad targeting and got quick consistent pressure despite your opponent knowing exactly who was blitzing. They do not want to sacrifice numbers to get home and want their 4 man loops, outside DB Fires or ability to mug the gap to cause other abuse of bad targeting blitzes to come in. In the past, comp madden has had the luxury of building their defenses around these type of little risk / high reward blitzes. I understand their frustrations that without pressure, at their level, people are too good at the game to make stops on defense. So without these types of blitzes, it makes comp madden so much less balanced. I am just not a believer that we should go backwards with the pass protection tools in the game in order to allow for these types of blitzes to be more effective. I would rather like to see EA attack other issues in the game that makes offense more ahead of the defense rather than change mechanics to open up the blitz game as the solve.
