We're adding some size to the frontcourt. 🐍
We're excited to welcome Markus Harding to Saskatoon! The 6'10" Canadian Centre from Toronto brings six years of college experience and a reputation for grit that wins games.
Last season at Indiana State, Harding started 72% of his games, scored 7.3 PPG, and shot an efficient 50% from the field. A big man who can finish and defend? That's Mamba basketball.
"Can't wait to be out there representing the Mamba." Welcome, Markus. 👊

7 Foot Central Michigan Center @HunterHarding13 tells me he has heard from:
Bradley
Canisius
Boston
Northeastern
Citadel
Western Carolina
Seattle University
The 7 footer has good hands and great patience in the post. Good wherewithal to know where everyone is before going into his moves. Great footwork: step thrus, up and unders, step arounds, drop steps, and multiple pivots. Good touch on his right hook. Shoots the 15 foot spot mid well. Knows how to relocate around charge circle and on rolls to clear space to create a passing angle for the guards. Seals properly and deep. Weakside rebounds and rebounds his area offensively and defensively.

With 10 new players for @CMUMensBBall, this is what you’d expect to see from national predictions. Pritchard, Vasko, H. Harding, Simpson & D. Barbee return. CMU may be the most intriguing team in the MAC heading into 2024-25. #FireUpChips 🔥
