0. Israel did not send combat soldiers to fight and die alongside US troops in the Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq War or other recent major US operations. In 1991 Israel stayed out at US request to preserve the Arab coalition. Support has involved intelligence sharing, technology and experience rather than ground forces. Claims that Israel pushed the US into those wars remain contested among historians.
