Even the Teamsters are saying it: trucking companies "turn to vulnerable newcomers," people "who might be afraid to speak out."
That's not a labour shortage. That’s trucking companies putting dangerous foreign drivers on the road to save a few extra dollars.
Shut them all down, and then shut down the TFW scam.
Canada’s trucking industry racked by non-compliance, training and safety concerns

I don’t go to the movie theatre often, but I am definitely going to the theatre this week after the election to watch Paging Hezbollah.
I hope when people watch this movie it cures them of their severe Israel derangement syndrome and reminds them of who the real enemy is:
Islam.
It’s been out since October 30th. Let me know what you guys think of the movie if you go see it.

You keep saying “arrest”, whereas I am talking about investigative detention @IanRunkle
Investigative detentions exceeding one hour have been held lawful under Canadian law.
Your answer is academically correct, but untethered from the facts of the case.
1) Prior conviction for narcotics trafficking
2) Shows up to the hospital in the early hours of the morning with a gunshot wound 3) within temporal proximity to home invasion in which three people were shot
4) Police immediately make the connection.
Plenty of justification for investigative detention, as opposed to a “discharge” from hospital and now being on the loose.
And my prediction of what probably happened: The guy probably snuck out of the hospital without the knowledge of the police or doctors. You don’t get treated and discharged in any hospital in Canada in such a short period of time…
That’s why Insp. Kristy Smith was saying that he would likely be favoring his shoulder.
The cops don’t want to look totally stupid, so they confirm they made the “immediate connection”. But they don’t want to look like total incompetent buffoons, so they say he was “discharged”.
I may be wrong on that last prediction of what likely happened.
But I am not wrong on my assessment as per the facts of this situation.
No judge on earth would deem it to be a charter violation to detain this man for 1 to 2 hours for investigative purposes, given his criminal record of drug trafficking, the gunshot wound, and the proximity to gunshots at a home invasion. If the cops “immediately” made the connection, no judge on earth would second-guess the reasonableness of the investigative detention.
Replying to @thevivafrei
Based on what case law? They arrest the guy wrongfully, now any evidence they obtain via that wrongful arrest is likely to be excluded under s. 24(2).
They didn't have RPG. They may have had reasonable suspicion for an investigative detention, but that is brief (minutes).

Absolutely excellent history for reparations seekers

Mossad agents broke into a diplomat’s hotel room in Vienna, cloned his laptop in under an hour, and discovered dozens of color photos showing North Korean scientists inside an unmarked box-shaped building in the Syrian desert—triggering a stealth air raid that wiped out a covert plutonium reactor minutes before midnight.
The reason might surprise you.
In early 2007, Israeli intelligence was tracking suspicious cargo shipments between Pyongyang and Damascus. While Western agencies assumed Syria was merely modernizing ballistic missiles, Mossad Director Meir Dagan suspected something far more dangerous.
In March 2007, an operational window opened in Vienna:
Ibrahim Othman, head of the Syrian Atomic Energy Commission, arrived for an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) conference.
When Othman left his hotel for a dinner engagement, a specialized Mossad Kidon team breached his suite.
Operatives cloned his laptop's hard drive, planted Trojan spyware, and left the room completely undisturbed before his return.
When analysts back in Tel Aviv cracked the files, they were stunned:
The drive held dozens of high-resolution digital photographs taken inside a remote facility near Al-Kibar, in the Deir ez-Zor desert along the Euphrates River.
The images showed a gas-cooled, graphite-moderated nuclear reactor identical in design to North Korea's Yongbyon plutonium reactor.
Pictured side-by-side inside the facility were Chon Chiboo, a leading North Korean nuclear official, and senior Syrian engineers.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert immediately dispatched Mossad and defense officials to Washington to brief President George W. Bush.
While US intelligence confirmed the facility was indeed a plutonium-production reactor built with North Korean assistance, Washington favored diplomatic pressure via the UN rather than kinetic military action.
Olmert refused to wait. Under the Begin Doctrine, an operational reactor in a hostile state could not be tolerated:
Once loaded with nuclear fuel rods, an airstrike would blanket the Euphrates Valley and downstream populations in lethal radioactive fallout. The countdown to strike was measured in months.
The mission was codenamed Operation Orchard (also referred to as Operation Outside the Box).
Before the airstrike, commandos from the elite Sayeret Matkal were covertly inserted by helicopter near Al-Kibar to collect soil samples, photograph perimeter defenses, and verify nuclear signatures.
On the night of September 5, 2007, the strike package took flight:
Four F-15I Ra'am fighters and four F-16I Sufa jets from the 69, 119, and 253 Squadrons departed Ramat David and Hatzerim airbases.
Instead of flying east over Jordan, the aircraft headed west over the Mediterranean, climbed north, and banked east along the Turkish-Syrian border.
Israel's electronic warfare and cyber units deployed an airborne algorithmic weapon codenamed Suter: they hacked and fed false-sky data directly into Syria’s modern Russian-built radar network. The screens showed tranquil, empty airspace while eight strike fighters roared beneath radar shadows.
Shortly after 11:30 PM, the strike package dropped down onto Al-Kibar:
Diving out of the dark sky, the jets unleashed 17 tons of precision-guided ordnance, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles and 500-pound laser-guided penetration bombs.
The cubic concrete containment building was completely flattened, collapsing into its subterranean foundations in seconds.
At 12:01 AM on September 6, the mission commander radioed the prearranged Hebrew code word back to the subterranean command bunker in Tel Aviv: "Arizona." All eight Israeli aircraft returned to base completely undamaged.
What followed was one of the most remarkable diplomatic silences in modern warfare:
Neither Israel nor Syria acknowledged what had occurred. Prime Minister Olmert imposed a strict military gag order on Israeli press, preventing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from facing public pressure to retaliate.
Desperate to conceal the illicit program from the IAEA, Syrian authorities deployed excavators within weeks, bulldozing the remaining rubble, scraping the topsoil, and erecting an innocuous civilian warehouse over the footprint.
The veil broke in April 2008 when the CIA briefed the US Congress with unclassified surveillance footage and photos, confirming North Korea's covert nuclear proliferation. Israel officially lifted its censorship and confirmed the raid in March 2018.

God's people cannot remain silent on matters God has clearly addressed, simply because those matters have been declared political.
The issue is not whether the church should become political. It is whether Christians will remain biblical when biblical truth has political consequences.

The suspect who has been identified in the home invasion and shooting in Toronto Canada was apparently SHOT in the altercation by one of the other suspects.
He showed up at the hospital WITH A GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE SHOULDER.
And even worse: THE POLICE SHOWED UP AND ENCOUNTERED HIM AT THE HOSPITAL.
He was somehow DISCHARGED and is now on the run.

🚨 THE FBI'S DIRTY SECRETS ARE OUT — 700 PAGES UNREDACTED 🚨
The Crossfire Hurricane files have just been released…
And it’s WORSE than anyone imagined.
One name keeps appearing over and over:
💥 Stefan Halper
The “informant” paid to SPY on Donald Trump.
Paid by WHO?
→ THE FBI.
→ YOUR tax dollars.
→ For DECADES.
This wasn’t about “Russia.”
This wasn’t about “collusion.”
This was about:
→ Political espionage.
→ Character assassination.
→ Taking down Trump by any means necessary.
Remember General Mike Flynn?
Halper was the one who spread the lie:
🗣️ “Flynn left a conference alone with Russian women.”
Fake.
Fabricated.
DEBUNKED by the FBI themselves.
But the damage was done.
Flynn’s life — destroyed.
Trump’s campaign — spied on.
And the Deep State walked away untouched.
📢 WHAT THIS MEANS:
⚠️ The FBI didn’t “investigate” Trump.
🚨 THE FBI TARGETED TRUMP.
They paid informants.
They planted lies.
They weaponized the intelligence community against a sitting U.S. President.
The swamp isn’t just real.
IT’S DOCUMENTED.
And now — 700 pages PROVE IT.
The Russia Hoax wasn’t just a scam.
🚨 IT WAS TREASON.
Time for the truth.
Time for accountability.
Time for justice.

For daring to speak the truth, I was ARRESTED by the FBI, thrown into a cell, branded a TERRORIST by my own government...
Dr. Simone Gold spoke out about hydroxychloroquine, opposed the destructive lockdowns and mandates, and rejected the rushed COVID vaccines — and the Biden regime came after her like a political enemy.
Her teenage son (asleep in his bed in Los Angeles on Jan 6) was stalked by TSA agents and put on a watch list.
Her bank accounts were flagged.
Her reputation was destroyed.
She was sentenced by a system that knew the accusations were false but refused to correct them.
This wasn’t justice — it was selective persecution and the legalization of American fascism.
They didn’t just silence a doctor. They terrorized her entire family to scare every other truth-telling physician into submission.
This is what they did to one brave doctor who put patients first.
Never forget what they’re capable of when you challenge their narrative.

The Protestant Reformation is arguably one of the most significant events in human history since the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Why? Because it was a monumental recovery of biblical Christianity.
The Reformers challenged centuries of religious tradition, ecclesiastical corruption, and teachings that had obscured the biblical gospel. They called the church back to the authority of Scripture, salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, and the glory of God alone.
But consider something else that made the Reformation so consequential: It put the Word of God back into the hands of ordinary people.
The Bible was translated into the languages of the common people. Scripture was printed, distributed, preached, studied, and read in homes. Christians were no longer expected simply to accept what religious authorities told them. They could examine the Scriptures for themselves.
The Reformation reminded the church that its ultimate authority is not a pope, a council, a church tradition, or a religious institution. It is the inspired, inerrant, sufficient Word of God.
The Reformers didn’t believe they were inventing a new Christianity. They believed they were recovering the Christianity of the apostles.
And that distinction matters.
We owe an enormous debt to those men who were willing to stand against powerful religious institutions, endure persecution, and even die rather than surrender the authority of God’s Word.
The Reformation wasn’t about making Christianity more convenient. It was about making the church accountable to Scripture again.
Sola Scriptura. Sola Fide. Sola Gratia. Solus Christus. Soli Deo Gloria.
Never take for granted that you can open a Bible, read it in your own language, study it with your family, and hear the gospel preached according to the Scriptures.
Many faithful Christians suffered tremendously so that the generations after them could do exactly that.
We should never forget what the Reformation recovered, and we should never surrender what it recovered.
