I finally played StarFox on Switch 2 after being busy and playing 64, and it is a very faithful remake of 64, with some caveats. The levels are designed exactly like the original are and they are visually beautiful. The controls are good, and the music is a good upgrade of the original. I still do not like the voice acting and writing of the dialogue and I still think it’s pretty bad especially during the missions. During briefings they are alright, but that’s because it’s moreso planning than something full on emotional. I also had some issues with Andross that I think should be fixed up a bit, and the visuals for him during the first phase are more boring than the original. Otherwise, he’s fine and works as good as before. I need to play more of the game, but I overall had a good time. Definitely prefer 64 because I’m a bit biased and I prefer the characterization of the crew in that game, but I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you want a more visually stunning version of StarFox 64, I’d give it an 8.5-9/10.

If you are one of those MCU fans who said Thor Ragnarok was a good change for Thor's character because nobody liked him when he was serious and the MCU simply gave audience what they wanted, you don't get to complain about Feige shelving these two has-beens and putting emphasis on successful characters the audience like.

Can someone please explain this to me like I’m 5? Ultron had complete control over Vision’s body. He could walk around, talk, drive and basically operate the entire thing. But somehow, he couldn’t lower the firewall himself? He actually needed Vision to do it? How do you have full control of the entire system but somehow get locked out of one feature?

Sorry, but according to Visionquest, Tony did buy Jarvis after the acquisition. Jarvis is just Proto-One renamed and modified and that’s basically it. They share the same voice as well (despite the fact that he sounds exactly like human Jarvis, who Tony based the ai on), and they even show Proto-One’s name being changed to Jarvis when mentioning Stark Industries buying all of this, it’s literally Jo-Casta’s entire motivation, alongside being betrayed. You are just making shit up to defend a show that decided to create a terrible, poorly written retcon just to defend a storyline that arguably didn’t need to do this, because the show presented otherwise that he bought Jarvis. I’m not making the rules, I’m just making the observations
Tony Stark didn’t buy JARVIS. He built him. Get the facts straight! Some fans are disappointed after VisionQuest reportedly reveals that Tony didn’t create JARVIS entirely from scratch. But does using a prototype or an existing template somehow make Tony any less of a genius? Absolutely not! Tony took a foundation and turned it into something extraordinary. There’s a huge difference between buying something ready-made and using a starting point to develop something far more advanced. Apparently, some people watched the series without understanding what they were watching. Tony Stark’s genius was never about creating everything out of thin air. It was about taking an idea, pushing its limits, and turning it into something nobody else could. Using a prototype doesn’t make Tony less of a genius. What he built from it is what matters.

I agree that Tony Stark doesn’t deserve hate, he is a fantastic character, but most people criticizing vision quest when it comes to him is because of the retcon, they aren’t trying to hate on Tony Stark. Their criticism is of how they diminished his character more. But no, just because everything has a foundation that can be built up upon doesn’t change the fact that Tony Stark didn’t even make Jarvis. Jarvis is actually just a slightly modified version of an AI that someone else already made, which completely undermines the whole point in Tony’s dynamic with Jarvis and why Jarvis even existed in the first place, especially when the trilogy and older MCU movies establish he made Jarvis. I’m not saying he should’ve invented artificial intelligence, but I’m saying that, especially with poor writing, making Jarvis something that he didn’t even create is such a lame change to make that undermines that dynamic. It also doesn’t change the fact that this isn’t the only MCU project as of late that did this. The first two MCU Spider-Man movies, Iron Heart, and now Visionquest.
some of you are so determined to hate Tony Stark that you've completely lost the ability to engage with what's actually on screen. do you understand that virtually every scientific breakthrough builds upon existing knowledge?++

Yes it does, especially when the first Iron Man establishes that Tony is a genius inventor who did make Jarvis and is capable of manufacturing weapons, the arc reactor, and later created an Iron Man suit, a new element, and even time travel, yet it’s too unrealistic for him to have made his own Ai assistant. The problem is that now Visionquest is saying he didn’t, he didn’t even make Jarvis, which does undermine his character and his accomplishment. This isn’t even a “plot-twist” or anything when it is a lame ret-con diminishing him as a character and frame it as him essentially stealing their work, and it isn’t the first time Marvel has done this either. Jarvis is an integral part to Tony as an inventor. We shouldn’t have to diminish or retcon older characters or movies in order to tell new stories
building upon an existing foundation doesn't diminish an achievement, the innovation lies in what you develop from it. if your definition of intelligence requires someone to invent everything from scratch you misunderstand how innovation works and FYI Tony Stark was…

The same episode even shows that Proto-One has the same Jarvis voice, and that its name changes to Jarvis as soon as they say Stark Industries acquired their Ais all in 2008, the same year Iron Man 1 takes place. So he doesn’t even use a foundation to make Jarvis, he quite literally buys out an Ai, renames it Jarvis, and only adds modifications to him at best. That makes the retcon even worse when Jarvis, Dum-E, and U, were all functioning in this same year. Do you not see the problem here?

I’m not saying he has to invent everything or even that he was the first to create an ai assistant, which isn’t true. The problem is that Jarvis was established to be invented by him, and now that isn’t even the case. people having relied on other people’s foundations doesn’t change that, especially when that wasn’t the case for Tony up until now.

Tony Stark really bought the source code for his AI assistants and then acted like the genius who built everything from scratch. 💀 J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H. owe more to someone else than Tony would ever admit. 💀

All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.

If he does, why would he give up control of Vision? He created Vision in Age of Ultron with the intent to become more powerful. Here he was at the end of episode 4, in control of Vision, because Vision somehow thought it was okay to give up control. Granted, he doesn’t have the mind stone, but Vision still functions mostly the same. So why would he give up control? Why wouldn’t he delete Vision or the other Ais? Why did he need them to pull down the fire wall to leave when he had full control, what stopped him?
#VISIONQUEST spoilers ULTRON KNOWS BETTER THAN ANYONE HOW DANGEROUS VISION CAN BE, AND THE FACT THAT HE'S WARNING JOCASTA NOT TO TOUCH TOMMY BECAUSE EVEN HE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO STOP VISION???

And no, don’t bring up a summarization of what happens. I don’t care if Vision was losing, it’s established that he doesn’t have access to his powers. And Ultron, in this same show, still proved he was more malicious than he let on by leaking Vision’s location. Even if there was more of a reason for Vision to trust him (which there isn’t), what advantage would Ultron have over vision? It makes way more sense for Ultron to keep control and delete the other ais. And no, Jo-Casta isn’t a good reason for this either, especially when they were already communicating just fine, and Ultron had more of an advantage with now having his own body.

I would probably argue that I shouldn't need to watch a podcast where the head of the DCU needs to tell me which parts of an over 5 year old movie are deemed cannon or not.
James Gunn has announced a podcast for ‘THE SUICIDE SQUAD’ where he will reveal what elements of the film are canon to the DCU.

Ultron’s opening move was to hijack the world's nuclear grid and wipe humanity out immediately, and conventional cybersecurity couldn't stop him. Earth only survived because a shattered J.A.R.V.I.S. operated on pure defensive reflex across the net, constantly rewriting the launch codes before Ultron could breach them.
Vision finally let Ultron leave😭 Friday couldn’t take it, she chose to go after him. #VisionQuest

Remember when they made this post that basically says "the fans will eat our slop anyway as long as it's FNaF!"

No one had a problem with Sam becoming Cap at the beginning. Then he starred in an awful, hateful show where he rejected the shield and even said it should be destroyed before sympathizing with terrorists. Then he starred in one of the worst marvel movies ever made all while losing all semblance of the character he had. No one cares about him as Cap now. Marvel failed with him. He only stays in the role because of people like you who would cry racism if Marvel ever moved on.
The hate Sam Wilson gets as Captain America says a lot. People proudly celebrate Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, but I wonder how much of that same respect would remain if he were still alive today.

No one hated Sam Wilson when he was Falcon. He was the voice of reason, honest, and stuck to his morals. He was a true hero that should have been allowed to grow in his mantle. If you want the truth, the writers turned him into a completely jackass after Steve gave him the shield. First he tried dumping it on the Smithsonian, then was a jerk to Bucky who was going throw an adjustment period and lost his only friend, then treated John like a villain despite it being obvious John had serious PTSD issues and Sam use to council former military personal who dealt with it, then there was the lecture how terrorist had ever right to kill innocent people, and now he is mad Bucky has a Avenger team so he is suing. Personally, I like who Sam was when he was Falcon better.
