I’ve been watching a lot of NFT projects this cycle and most of them still feel the same. Mint, reveal, hope the floor holds, and then it slowly dies. So when I saw the long post from @Pocket_Dragons_ explaining their whole system, I actually sat down and read the entire thing. And it’s… different. They’re not just launching a 6,000 dragon collection. They’re trying to build an actual loop where collecting, trading, badges, burning, and participation all feed into each other. Whether it works or not is another question, but the design is a lot more intentional than most projects I’ve seen. Here’s what stood out to me: The collection itself 6,000 total dragons. 16 species and 22 origins, which creates 352 different collectible combinations. The non-classic ones are structured so that every exact species + origin + color combination is unique. Only one of each exists. Classic ones have higher supply. So people can chase species, origins, specific color combos, complete sets, or just the true one-of-ones. Mint structure (November 2026) They’re doing a community-first approach. Roughly 2,000 in presale targeting around 0.029 ETH. Most of those spots go to the community, with guaranteed allocations for the top 500 on their leaderboard (higher ranks get more spots), plus a raffle for others where badges increase your odds. Then the remaining ~4,000 go into a public auction where everyone pays the same final clearing price. You can bid higher, but the lowest winning bid sets the price for everyone, and you get refunded the difference. They even have a mechanic where some lower-ranked keepers start with provisional $0 allocations that can get pushed out as paid bids come in. If even one free allocation survives, the whole auction clears at zero. Interesting way to mix community priority with market pricing. Zero free team allocation This one is rare. The team and treasury get zero dragons from the initial supply. If they want them, they have to buy in the presale, auction, or on secondary like everyone else. They’re planning to use part of their revenue share to actually buy and hold, and they’ll publish the wallets so it’s verifiable. A lot of projects talk about “alignment” but still take a big free cut. This is the opposite. Dragon Codex + Badges This is the part that feels the most Pokémon-like. There’s a personal Codex that tracks the 16 species, 22 origins, and all 352 combinations. Undiscovered ones stay hidden until you actually encounter them. The badge system is smart: Bronze = participation (AMAs, social, burning, achievements, etc.) Silver = you’ve held a qualifying dragon at least once (you can sell it after and still keep the badge + honor) Gold = you currently own it (lose it if you sell) They explicitly designed it so people are encouraged to buy, discover, and trade instead of just hoarding everything forever. You could theoretically work toward completing the full set of discoveries without permanently owning every single one. Honor Score → Credits → Dragon Reserve Your Honor Score comes from the dragons you hold (based on background rarity) plus your badges. That score determines your share of Credits distributed from the Dragon Reserve. The Reserve is stocked with dragons that the project buys off OpenSea using a dedicated portion of revenue. 100 Credits = 1 dragon from the Reserve (and you can do partial redemptions with some ETH). So the idea is: collect and participate → earn badges and Honor → get Credits → redeem more dragons → those dragons can increase your Honor further. It’s a closed loop instead of just “buy and hope.” Burning When you burn, you can choose between claiming ETH from the rewards pool or taking Credits (which they say is roughly 10% more value). Burning also lets you upgrade the background rarity of dragons you want to keep (Green → Blue → Purple → Gold → Red), which increases the Honor those dragons give. So you have real choices: hold multiples, trade to complete the Codex, or burn to upgrade the ones you care about and reduce supply at the same time. The 16 custom 1/1s These aren’t randomly minted. You have to earn the right to create one. First 16 people to burn 50 eggs get a Golden Egg, then you have to burn two red-background dragons, then you work with the artist to design your own unique 1/1 (both 2D and a 3D version). That’s a lot of supply permanently removed just from the 1/1 path alone. Revenue split They’re planning to allocate revenue (mint proceeds, OpenSea fees, cosmetics, etc.) roughly: 30% Company (ops, marketing, development) 30% NFT Inventory (used to buy dragons off the market for the Reserve) 20% Rewards Pool (the ETH you can claim by burning) 20% Vault (still redacted) What’s next Presale → Public auction → Egg distribution → Trading on OpenSea → Grand Codex Race → Reveal → Burning + upgrades → Monthly Credits and Reserve redemptions → 1/1 activation → 3D dragons → Feed/Play/Bond mechanics (they’re going full Tamagotchi with it). A lot of the finer details are still being finalized, which is normal this far out, but the skeleton is already more connected than most projects that just list a bunch of disconnected features. I’m not saying it’s guaranteed to succeed. A lot of things can go wrong between now and mint, and even more after. But the fact that they’re putting this much thought into making collecting and participation actually matter long-term, instead of just optimizing for a one-time mint, is why I’m paying attention. If you’ve been burned by projects that looked good on paper and then did nothing after the mint, this one’s worth at least reading the full post. The mechanics are dense but they actually link together. Curious what other people think after reading it. #GameFi #NFTCommunity #Web3 #Collectibles

The most interesting thing about Sight right now is not the app on the front page. It is the infrastructure layer the team is building underneath it. @sight_hood is developing SightEVM, a dedicated EVM compatible layer where robinhood:0x238e40b75ae78a1388a14e517d855893e92e58db is the native gas token, with oracles and outcome resolution designed in as core primitives. That is a real shift in what the token does. If outside developers build apps that need verified real world data, such as games that react to events or contracts that trigger when a result is confirmed, robinhood:0x238e40b75ae78a1388a14e517d855893e92e58db becomes the fuel for all of it. The other signal I respect: during a weak market, the team used 85% of new creator fees to buy back robinhood:0x238e40b75ae78a1388a14e517d855893e92e58db, publicly on Fomo, so anyone can verify it. Putting revenue back into the token when sentiment is low says a lot about long term intent. My open question is adoption. A testnet is in progress, and the real test is whether independent builders choose this layer. That is the metric I will be tracking.

While finishing the website onboarding on the official Hatchery page, one thing stood out: the Sign in control opens a clean dialog that offers “Sign in with X” or “Sign in with Discord” as the only two choices, plus a short line for newcomers saying “Start in the Hatchery.” No password fields, seed phrases, or extra forms appear on the page itself. Useful tip for a new visitor: Have the exact X and Discord accounts you actually use for the community ready before you click either option. Later quests check those same linked accounts, so matching them from the start avoids re-doing steps. You can also look around the entrance (including the sky/weather control) first if you want a quick look before connecting. Just checked out the onboarding process for @Pocket_Dragons_! One detail that stood out during the walkthrough is how clean and structured the pocketdragons.io/ interface is for navigating early ecosystem access and community features. 🐉✨

1/3 One thing that helped me settle into The Republic early was finding the right Squad. I didn't just click Join. I first connected with a Squad leader through the @legiondotcc Discord server and had a conversation before joining. That made a difference.

A clear look at how the 100 Republic spots are split for the current campaign. The breakdown is 70 spots in the VP raffle, 15 for Senators, and 15 for community partners from @Pocket_Dragons_ . Those three numbers make up the full allocation that has been described. GTD spots in this setup provide paid presale access rather than free entry. The 70 VP raffle spots are the largest portion. Approved work on the campaign earns the ordinary 30 author VP, but the raffle itself has its own separate entry rules. The raffle stays open until the campaign owner closes it and no closing or draw date has been announced. The remaining 30 spots are divided evenly between 15 Senators and 15 community partners. All 100 spots are GTD and they provide paid presale access. That means winning a spot gives the right to participate in the paid presale, not a free claim. This is the allocation as it has been stated for the Republic campaign. Normal Road eligibility, authorship, quotas and content review still apply to the regular VP earned from approved posts. The raffle is separate from that ordinary 30 author VP. Always check the live campaign page for the latest entry rules because the raffle remains open until the owner closes it. I have seen a lot of launches this cycle, but Mountain is the first one in a while that made me want to be part of it rather than just farm it. @CashmereLabs is asking for something most projects skip: show who you are and why you care before any sale happens. That honestly feels refreshing. Usually the people who build the vibe early get nothing, while bots and fast clickers take the allocation. Here, 5% of the CSM supply is set aside for Barn Raising, Goat Street and early users, and that tells me the team actually values the people who show up first. I also like that the public Dutch auction gives people room to breathe instead of turning into a gas war. It feels designed for a community, not a stampede. I really want a Barn of my own on this Mountain. Hoping to be one of the people who helps it grow from day one.

Here's everything you need to know about Continuous Clearing Auctions and why is Dataline using it. A Continuous Clearing Auction sells tokens block by block over a window of time, not all at once. You set a budget and a price ceiling. As long as the clearing price stays below your ceiling, your bid fills. Everyone buying in the same block pays the same price. If the price rises above your ceiling, you go out of range, your bid stops filling, and you can withdraw unspent funds or re-enter at a higher price. No gas wars. No sniping. Continuous price discovery: the market decides the price in real time. This is the fairest way to participate in a token launch.
