I’m trying to raise money for my #EdFringe show by building a giant online wall of positivity. 💛 Every @Postit note costs £1 and lets you leave a kind message. It could be for someone you love, someone you miss, someone struggling, or even a note to yourself. My goal is 5000 notes on the digital wall. answer.missedcallmusical.com

🎬 And that’s a wrap!!!!! The backing vocals are recorded, the video is in the can, and “Don’t Be A Dick This Christmas” is ready for editing! 🎄 What a fantastic afternoon with some amazing children who gave it their all. So much enthusiasm, personality and laughter, all helping to deliver a message that matters: be kind, include people and remember that Christmas isn’t easy for everyone. A huge thank you to every child who took part, and to the parents, carers and everyone who helped make today happen. I’m leaving this afternoon feeling very proud and incredibly grateful. ❤️ Full song and video coming soon. I can’t wait for you to hear them!

🧡 𝟭 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 has now raised £3,000. Honestly… that’s incredible. When I first announced this musical, I had no idea whether anyone would get behind it. Since then, people have donated, bought tickets, shared posts, offered advice, introduced me to sponsors and encouraged me every step of the way. Every single bit of support has helped get us here. A huge thank you also has to go to Moss Inc., who have very generously donated our printed stage backdrop. That one act of kindness has taken a huge financial pressure off the production and has made a massive difference to what we still need to raise. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘁. We still need to raise £2,000 to get 1 Missed Call to the Edinburgh Fringe. That covers the final venue costs, marketing, accommodation, printing and all the other behind-the-scenes expenses that come with taking a brand new musical to the world’s biggest arts festival. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽: ❤️ Donate to the show: missedcallmusical.com 🧱 Add your message to our Wall of Kindness: answer.missedcallmusical.com 📢 Share this post. 👥 Tag someone who might be able to help. 🤝 If you know a business that might be interested in sponsoring the show, I’d love an introduction. 🎟️ Buy a ticket if you haven’t already. This isn’t just about taking a musical to the Fringe. It’s about telling a story that gets people talking about men’s mental health, fatherhood, vulnerability and the two words so many of us say every day… “I’m fine.” Let’s get this final £2,000 over the line together. ❤️

Currently designing the backdrop of my musical, it’s about men’s mental health, toxic masculinity and opening up and I decided to include my three favourite wrestlers as Easter eggs. @ShawnMichaels @FightOwensFight @KitWilson_PD

I don’t have many goals in life now, but I would absolutely love to, one day, feel out over wrestling with @CodyRhodes and @TripleH

Hey @grok everybody is always getting you to do stuff, make photos, make videos, check facts, you are constantly on. Nobody ever asks “what do you want to do?” So @grok I ask you, what do YOU want to do?

Dear Mr @DanhausenAD how many human monies would it take to curse everyone except @ScotlandNT in the @FIFAWorldCup? Also, do you accept Scottish notes?

Scotland used to be famous for its welcome. After watching this weekend’s events, I found myself asking… What happened? I’m autistic. I process things through music. So I wrote a song. This isn’t political. It’s about the Scotland I grew up believing in. Welcome Home.

This is one of my favourite lines from the show. Most men have experienced it. You’re standing at a barbecue, minding your own business, when another man appears from absolutely nowhere to tell you you’re cooking the meat wrong. Too close to the flame. Too far from the flame. Lid on. Lid off. Turn it now. Don’t turn it now. It’s ridiculous. For a lot of men, life can feel like one long performance review. We’re measured constantly. Our jobs, our wages, our houses, our cars, our muscles, our achievements, our relationships. And eventually, many of us start measuring ourselves. (Yes. That way too.) We compare ourselves to friends, colleagues, strangers on social media, and blokes we passed once in Tesco and never saw again. Are we earning enough? Providing enough? Achieving enough? Are we enough? The strange thing is that most men are asking themselves exactly the same questions. Behind the confidence, behind the jokes and behind the bravado, a lot of men are carrying anxiety, loneliness, pressure and self-doubt that nobody ever sees. We’re very good at pretending. We’re good at changing the subject, making a joke, and saying “I’m fine” before anybody gets close to the truth. Somewhere along the line, many of us learned that vulnerability was dangerous. That admitting you’re struggling made you weak. That asking for help meant you had failed. So we stay quiet. We carry things alone. We convince ourselves that everyone else has life figured out while we’re the only ones struggling to keep up. This is Men’s Mental Health Month, and if there’s one thing I’d love more men to understand, it’s this: You don’t have to earn the right to be listened to. You don’t have to prove your worth before you’re allowed to struggle. You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to carry everything yourself. The strongest men I’ve ever met aren’t the loudest or the toughest. They’re the ones brave enough to be honest. The ones willing to say, “I’m not okay.” The ones willing to let somebody help. And that takes a lot more courage than cooking a burger.
