It's a good job Suella Braverman claimed Β£45,000 for water bills on her parliamentary expenses. If she had failed to declare a ten quid overpayment on Universal Credit, she'd have been in serious trouble then.
The pro-veganism and pro-abuse arguments online have now been rehearsed so, so many times in the last six years or so.
It's exhausting for anti-abusers to have to copy and paste the same points against botfarms and grifting shills. And unproductive.
Lead by example, #vegans.
Went to a public consultation event this evening. Theme was improving #Sneinton Square & Market in #Nottingham. Concerned that a lot of local people are not keen on people like me (not local, gentrified) deciding what happens to public space. Much to think about.
Another Holy of Holies...
6286 Skull's Eye Schooner from 1993 was a high-seas stunner! Unlike 6285 Black Seas Barracuda, it has not been remade or re-released, making scratching the Pirates itch with THIS ship challenging...

One of the Holy Grails.
8480 Space Shuttle from 1996 was a LEGO Technic set you'll never forget. It featured lit fibre-optic cables for effect, plus motorized functions to give this hulking set some much needed movement.

Straight out of the oven: banana chocolate bread/cake ππ«π€€ if you could only smell it now! Can't wait to dig in!

And all but me and one other person in the picture are new to #volunteering with our #CleanChampions.
Just 45 minutes makes a difference. Immediately, visibly, meaningfully.
And 2,000 steps as well!

It was my final event for Green Libraries Week this morning. First time doing this project, very small scale. It went better than I thought. Much to think about for next year.
Two new events next weekend. It's a nice way to earn a living but I'd love a week off.

So comforting, and a beautiful photo.

Lovely colours
Pepita and black bean tacos with fresh salsa. Hearty, flavorful, and completely plant-based. #Vegan #PlantBased #VeganFood #VeganRecipes
I picked up a little Ice Planet set at a Brick Festival last year. I never collected these as a child and I think they're pretty cool.

(I'll get my coat.)
6898 Ice-Sat V from 1993 was Ice Planet 2002's largest rover - perfect for unloading rockets at Commander Cold's HQ (6983 Ice Station Odyssey). That enough wheels for ya? A great 90s LEGO set.
