Congrats to Anup Acharya, MCR Nepal, IPTOP Education Award recipient ! Anup attended WP-AWP and presented his research that found 37% of 300 assistive devices were not being used. His work highlights the importance of individual assessment, proper fitting, training and follow-up.
10,000+ delegates. 2 days. One mission: advancing care for older adults. 🙌 Thanks to Dr. Megha Sheth & Dr. Manthan Purohit for organizing IPTOP’s presence at World Physiotherapy AWP 2026 in New Delhi!
Age really is just a number when it comes to rehabilitation potential!
The findings highlight an important point: age alone does not determine rehabilitation potential. Frailty and baseline function may play a bigger role in predicting recovery.
