Sickening. Vivian Leah Morgan, Army Vet, 61, was stomped to death by an 8X CONVICTED FELON while riding Chicago's public transit system. She should be alive. Her murderer should have been in jail. Stop prioritizing repeat offenders & start prioritizing public & transit safety.
From her obituary: "Vivian Leah Morgan, Veteran, 61, of Chicago, formerly Omaha NE and Brooklyn IL, tragically passed away January 4, 2024...Former nursing student of East St. Louis Community College. Vivian will be remembered for her gift for making others laugh with her humor, her passion for roller skating and love for animals. "
She was also an Army veteran.
She was stomped to death by an 8 time convicted felon on the CTA, Chicago's public transit system while riding the Red Line train near State/Lake.

Detroit is transforming 104 acres of vacant and blighted land into solar arrays generating enough renewable energy to power 127 municipal buildings. All three neighborhoods have 100% resident approval and were integral in the design and landscape of the project in their neighborhoods. Together, we are demonstrating how Detroit can lead in clean energy while prioritizing community-driven solutions that benefit all residents.

The crisis of democratic government is actually a crisis of progressive government.
People seem to feel they’ve been taxed, regulated, bossed around and intimidated by left-of-center politicians for decades—but the results are bad and have been getting worse.
