Today, we pay tribute to former Mayor of Ipswich Dr. Albert Grant OBE who has sadly passed away aged 89. During 26 years as a Whitehouse ward councillor, he became the town's first Black mayor in 1995, and championed racial equality and community causes. bit.ly/4dxTVnE

We encourage anyone who can to attend @ISCRE_Official's Stop and Search Reference Group.

Sophie was on the @ISCRE_Official Board and chaired the @IpswichGov Equality Panel of which I was a member. She also taught at my son's school. She was caring, generous, fun and a real public servant of the people of Ipswich. She will be long remembered
