The old guard has fallen.
Nothing but love and respect for those who paved the way.
But not everyone is destined to see the end of the journey.
Conviction is easy when the world agrees with you. It’s in the silence, the doubt, and the passing years that true believers are forged.

🚨 HEARTBREAKING: The NTSB just released new details on the Learjet that left AUSTIN for the Bahamas and crashed in Florida, killing all NINE people on board.
At 35,000 feet, the crew reported ice and moderate turbulence. They said it was manageable.
They asked to climb to 37,000 feet and got the approval.
Less than 30 seconds later, they called MAYDAY. "We are in an overspeed condition, descending."
Two crew members and seven passengers, and none of them made it home.
Please pray for these Texas families.

Let me clear up some misinformation about this:
This is part of the Sponsored Fees and Reserves amendment (up for voting). The 1 XRP reserve still exists, it can just be covered by a separate "sponsor account" instead of the new account. These accounts are not free.
INSIGHT: XRP Ledger developers are testing a way to create accounts with zero $XRP balance, letting apps and AI agents create wallets without pre-funding each one, potentially removing a key friction point for mass adoption.

Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises.
We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight.
The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.

Agents are the thing that was not on the radar for most people.
Many Agents will be foreign, none of them will have bank accounts, and they all will be shopping with sovereign stablecoins

The incident underscores current risks when agents interact with traditional banking rails, where agents themselves cannot hold accounts and instead rely on delegated permissions or stolen credentials from account holders.
This reinforces the Travelers on XRPL: agents can use self-custodied RLUSD or other sovereign stablecoins for independent atomic payments and PvP without needing bank accounts at all, limiting exposure to unauthorized access while preserving permissioned delegation where desired.

True Earth, atmospheric energy, mysterious places you’ve never heard of (Ashgabat & Mount Roraima)
Great video; I’ve shared it from DaphneReloaded.
It’s a welcome change—rather than just looking at old images to get an idea of what a city powered by free energy might look like DaphneReloaded:
(The video is from 2021.)
...a place where citizens paid only 10% income tax and received free electricity and gas—a policy that only changed slightly in 2019.
The then-president, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, officially abolished the long-standing system of completely free basic utilities as of January 1, 2019. Since then, citizens have been required to install meters and pay for their consumption—though, by international standards, the prices remain heavily subsidized and extremely low (“preferential rates”).
(Keeping it all free would likely have drawn too much attention, don’t you think?) The fact that they pay only 2 cents per liter of gasoline is already significant enough.
Under the first dictator, Saparmurat Niyazov, gasoline in the country was so heavily subsidized that a liter cost the equivalent of only about 2 US cents. At times, fuel in Turkmenistan was cheaper than a bottle of mineral water.😂
Free fuel as a state gift: The successor president even went a step further for a time, granting every car owner a free allowance of up to 120 liters of gasoline per month. Anyone who consumed more had to pay the regular (though still extremely low) price.
What is the situation today?
These extreme handouts were also eliminated in the wake of the economic crisis. Today, a liter of gasoline (Super A-95) in Turkmenistan costs about 1.50 manat, which is equivalent to approximately 0.43 US dollars (about 40 euro cents).
The days of 2-cent prices are over, but the country still consistently ranks among the top 10 nations worldwide with the cheapest gasoline.
In Turkmenistan, there are no free elections, no opposition, and no freedom of the press. For decades, free or inexpensive resources served as a form of social peace, subsidized by the state. The logic behind this: as long as the state provides basic necessities—such as energy, bread, and water—almost for free, and levies hardly any taxes, the population refrains from protesting against the autocratic regime.

In 1863, Lincoln required banks to back currency with Treasury bonds to fund the Civil War.
The GENIUS Act is the 2026 version. Effective Jan 18, 2027, it forces stablecoin issuers to hold 1:1 reserves in T-bill; turning them into a structural multi-trillion-dollar buyer of U.S. debt as the national debt sits above $40T.
