I don't have much time to draw new stuff this month so I've been reusing art I've drawn already and reposting (sobs)
I really dislike having waves of grief but I often fall back into places of frustration because I just used to be so much more capable before my dysautonomia started worsening. I used to get commissions done MUCH faster, I used to be able to spend more time with friends, now
it feels like there's a cost to every small bit of energy I use and such a huge consequences that it feels so bleak sometimes.
And the worst part is that most people who aren't disabled just Don't Get It. It gets exhausting responding with the same 'I'm fatigued' when asked
Also LRT, I’m noticing a lot of weird one-up energy in indie animation communities where people constantly have a need to kick indie shows down to elevate their own ego and it genuinely makes me feel ill.
Idk where this superiority complex comes from but it just be tiring

Idk bottom line is go make your own characters or AUs or whatever, stop acting like you're objectively improving the source material

Only ever directed at indie creators who are getting to make their dream projects and the reaction is always "Actually it should look like this! I know your characters better than you!"
