"Scene" is a tight slap from Jithu Madhavan to all those writers and filmmakers who keep complaining about the challenges of coming up with fresh scripts, backing new talent, and making films on a minimal budget, with a top hero on board.

#Scene is that kind of movie we talk about
"Hollywood makes such great movies, why can't Indians make it?"
India's made it. It's SCENE.
Scene is PEAK cinema.

#Scene Fresh in Treatment, Mediocre in Impact!
A dark crime comedy with a unique treatment and plenty of quirkiness that works in parts but also backfires when it goes too over the top. The comedy is hit or miss, and while the plot feels innovative, the investigative portions never become as engaging as they should. Feels very low stakes and stays more on the lighthearted side than expected.
Music leans heavily on EDM and works only in parts. Suriya, Nazriya, and Naslen deliver solid performances. Setup had the potential to become something genuinely impactful and unique, but the film never fully gets there. Strictly Mediocre!
Rating: 2.25-2.5/5

#Scene is wacky, creative and thoroughly entertaining!
Jithu Madhavan weaves an investigative detective thriller around a psycho killer, throwing in plenty of absurdity and unconventional humour. Despite its eccentricity, the film keeps us thoroughly engaged and entertained.
Not many star heroes dare to pick scripts like this. Respect to Suriya for backing something so unconventional!
Watch it! 👍

Cinema is supposed to make you forget your reality for those 3 hours. Those are called great cinema.
Very very rarely a movie like #Scene comes where it not only redefines your reality but make it 10 times better.
Forever grateful to the talent that is Jithu Madhavan🙏

#Scene is a super jackpot and massively profitable venture for producer #Suriya! The film's entire budget has been recovered through non-theatrical rights itself, with profits already secured.
The film is now set to deliver a minimum of ₹200 Cr+ gross through theatrical business and has the potential to go even bigger! 🔥💥
Both as a hero and as a producer, this film has worked exceptionally well for Suriya.
Definitely, directors across industries should learn from Kerala filmmakers how to make films work big at the box office with relatively smaller budgets. 👏
A big respect to #JithuMadhavan and his entire team 👌👏👏
