Yeah.
Or that WhatsApp founders left Meta/Facebook in disgust, started #deletefacebook campaign & made major contributions to building Signal.
What they learned about Facebook & changes to WhatsApp obviously disturbed them greatly.

WhatsApp cannot be trusted
WhatsApp has been using the microphone in the background, while I was asleep and since I woke up at 6AM (and that's just a part of the timeline!) What's going on?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
WhatsApp has clarified they believe it to be a bug in Android's Privacy Dashboard (twitter.com/WhatsApp/statu…)

Researchers created "heat maps" of the physical response to a range of positive and negative emotions.
This is fascinating…
In 2013, a team of researchers conducted a study to track the physical response to emotional experiences.
The 701 participants were shown a range of emotion-inducing stimuli.
They were then asked to color areas of increased/decreased bodily activity on a blank human silhouette.
Based on the self-reported physical experiences, the researchers created aggregated "heat maps" of the response to the emotional stimuli.
Red areas indicated increased activity.
Blue areas indicated decreased activity.
The resulting maps—which represent self-reported sensations, not temperature—show the physical responses to emotional experiences.
A few I found interesting:
• Depression manifests as absence of feeling
• Happiness/love felt all throughout the body
• Fear felt in the core
The authors concluded:
"Different emotional states are associated with topographically distinct and culturally universal bodily sensations"
They believed the work could give rise to "a unique tool for emotion research and could even provide a biomarker for emotional disorders."
For the next few days, pay attention to the physical manifestation of your emotional experiences.
It’s pretty interesting to see how they do/don’t line up the heat maps image.
