Cap thing got me wondering. Has there ever been a superhero passing the mantle that was universally well received? Peter -> Ben & Miles as Spider-Man has been bumpy. Steve -> Sam as Cap too. I think Terry as Batman is the only one everyone liked. Idk why though.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (MCU) It's pretty damn good. As far as MCU Spidey stuff it just passes Homecoming for my favorite MCU Spider-Man movie. Finds the perfect balance between levity and consequence that I think Far From Home and No Way Home struggled with. 8.5/10

Power Scaling outside of verses I think is just kinda stupid. I think in universe power scaling or scaling from specific well defined, deliberate, and supported crossovers can work. But just raw comparing one fiction to another is a bit pointless.

PSA Terry, his world, and cast has evolved greatly since the show ended. Even greater since moving away from DCAU continuity and being placed as a future to prime earth. Much of peeps problems with Beyond that hold them back from being an ideal successor was fixed in Rebirth
