🟥 WOW ...
Happy International Women’s Day, Canada and the world! 👍🏼
This earnest message from Prime Minister Mark Carney, marking the occasion, is powerful:
“Because again and again, women have refused to accept a system that did not see you, hear you, or reflect you.”

Earlier today in Sydney, a very at ease Mark Carney dropped an F bomb while recounting a story from when he was BoC governor in 2008 and he meet up with other central bankers in Basel, to drink very nice wine and deal with the financial crisis.#cdnpoli

We hope the good people of #SanFrancisco will forgive us for adapting a song about their city in 1967 to address the shocking and tragic events in #Minnesota in recent weeks. This is dedicated to Renée Good and Alex Pretti, and in solidarity. Our version is called "Minnesota" ❤️

Show me someone who does not understand in the least how screening tests work...
"No longer will Albertans require a doctor to give them permission to access private preventative tests or screening. "
"And if that testing turns up a serious condition that needs treatment, the government will reimburse you for that cost because it likely means that your needed treatment will be less complicated and less costly for taxpayers because it was caught early." @ABDanielleSmith

🚨 RFK Jr. is about to drop a report linking Tylenol in pregnancy to autism.
Sounds dramatic. But here’s the problem: the strongest science says otherwise.
📊 Sweden, 2.5M children.
When you just look at population data, you see tiny risk bumps.
But when you compare siblings (one exposed, one not)?
👉 The signal disappears. No causal link.
⚖️ U.S. courts already dismissed Tylenol–autism lawsuits. Why?
Because the evidence wasn’t there. Judges called it speculation.
🧪 No dose–response relationship either. If Tylenol really caused autism, you’d expect higher use = higher risk. Not happening.
So what will RFK’s report actually do?
→ Stitch together old observational studies.
→ Highlight “biological plausibility” (Tylenol crosses the placenta, folate is important).
→ Point to leucovorin trials in small subgroups.
→ Wrap it in a precautionary frame.
That’s not proof.
That’s narrative-building.
Meanwhile, reality is simple:
✅ Acetaminophen remains the safest pain reliever in pregnancy when used properly.
⚠️ Untreated fever and pain are real risks - for both mother and baby.
And here’s the irony: if HHS now blames Tylenol and folate deficiency…
👉 it’s basically admitting vaccines don’t cause autism.
You can’t have it both ways.
The vaccine-autism myth is dead.
