Got the new mobile radio installed today. TYT 9800D. Really having some fun with this. #hamradio

Had to get my cable to run through the mast but the antenna is up and running and was able to make contact from the house when I wasn’t able to before. Next up. Getting this up 30 feet in the air.

It’s been about 5 years since I picked up my #hamradio and made a contact. I got a new urge to get back at it and I’m obsessed. Find a hobbies that you enjoy.

A recommendation for my movie friends. The Night of the Hunter is an incredible piece of cinema. The cinematography, the sound, and the score do an incredible job with storytelling with a brilliant performance by Robert Mitchum. If you get the opportunity to see this, go for it.

Fun fact. Vehicles make amazing sounds.
