This is devastating. I met Eric last year. I was going to a movie at my local theater and he was there signing posters for an animated short called "Bullet Time" in which he voiced the lead. I had no idea, at the time, that he was basically the modern day Mel Blanc and the voice of nearly every Looney Tunes character.
He called my wife and I over to his table and started doing Bugs impressions for us, then asked if we wanted a poster. He proceeded to run through, like, 5 different voices. We had a good laugh and told him how great he was at them and he goes "Yeah! I'm Bugs!" and laughed with us as our jaws hit the floor. Of course, he was!
I was so taken by how humble and generous Eric was with his time. He seemed to love what he did so much. Man, this sucks. What a loss. I'm glad our paths crossed even for that brief moment.

Eric Bauza has sadly passed away at the age of 46.
The modern voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck alongside many other beloved characters.
Don’t cast your pearls before swine as they say. You can give someone the most gorgeous visuals and they’ll STILL say “that looks worse than the N64’s flat textures”
It’s beautifully implemented and this “fog” isn’t EVERYWHERE.
You know what’s funny? As a gamer, I’m still playing tons of games on my Switch 2 and ENJOYING them.
As a collector I’m still displaying my box on a shelf and when I’m over it, I can give it to a friend or sell it!

It really comes down to the common denominator in takes like this which is hypocrisy. More specifically if it’s a game or thing you like personally more you’ll make excuses as to why you’re trying to justify supporting it over the thing you like less and have a moral high ground
